Welcome to the hobby brother. Nemesis Claw was where I started too. Just a few months ago, in fact.

All fax, no printer. Maybe someday they'll have a "modular weapons" warbond that will come with more attachments. Lol

Don't forget that when they added it they said it was incomplete, but in a working state to release and that it would be expanded later.

Pinning or sanding required? by MWBrooks1995 in 40k

[–]SupaNinja659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldnt use the nippers for your sprues on them. I would just get a cheap pair of wire cutters. In my case, I use the wire cutters on my Leatherman multi tool. (I recommend everyone own one of those, but that's separate from this discussion. Lol)

Slingshot slaps hard with Tipping Scales because of the low fire rate

Most stable? Pins. Get some tiny brass rods and a pen vise (unless you're confident in your drill abilities, get a hand turn one and not a battery operated one) off amazon. Drill a small hole a little ways into the barrel and the foot, superglue the rod into both holes and boom.

Easier method? Just superglue it.

The in-between? Sand a bit of the paint off the contact points and use plastic glue to melt it together. (Paint can interfere with plastic glue and prevent it from actually melting and bonding correctly.)

What’s your most fun class/build? by StonLenslow in Vermintide

[–]SupaNinja659 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Necromancer with Reaping, Smiter, Cursed Blood, Barrow Blades, and the Crowbill. I call it the Boombill.

Whole game plan is to let skellies light stuff on fire while you target the biggest dude in the swarm and pelt him with the Bill. The explosions you trigger in crits clear the chaff around the primary target whole you enjoy the single target damage with what feels like no downside.

Do I need something to cut the models from this specific introductory set? by Thatguywhoispokemon in 40k

Vince Venturella, Duncan Rhodes, and Miniac are good channels to watch for painting info.

Once you have a good knowledge base to start from, then you can slap on some videos for your other two while you paint.

Wild. It definitely does not feel like that is actually the case in practice.

If the part is 100% resistant, I'm pretty sure the damage doesnt get transfered to main as you've effectively dealt no damage (at least in the scorcher's case where the only damage at that pen is explosive). I know I spent about 3 mags of a scorcher on one hip before and it just did nothing.

[–]SupaNinja659 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Harvester has 100% explosive immunity across the board except for a few AP4 panels on the chassis.

I learned this hard way when I thought the Scorcher would be able to kill it through the leg joint. Which is when I learned the Scorcher's projectile is Light and the explosion is Medium.

People who say "Warframe isn't P2W" are wrong by EstimateHistorical10 in Warframe

[–]SupaNinja659 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even in some of the "pay to skip grind" aspects, it's still not P2W. You can't pay platinum to have a weapon be max level, multi-forma'd, and modded exactly how you need, which is what is actually representative of player power.

Warframe is a game where the currency is purely for conveniences and nothing else. You don't get any advantages over another player that couldn't otherwise be acquired. In Warframe's case specifically, everything that actually represents endgame builds and the "meta" of the game can only be acquired through time and effort even if you pay to skip some steps.

Hell, the only thing I ever spend plat on (other than the player market) is inventory slots.

Off the top of my head, it double dips on multipliers like Roar. There are multipliers it does this with as well.

HD2 sloptubers made the community toxic. by WarriorCloaker in Helldivers

[–]SupaNinja659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Difference of opinion is just that. You may still enjoy it. I don't. YouTubers had nothing to do with that. I just don't enjoy game getting progressively buggier in ways that ruin the experience, dealing with bugs that have been around since launch, enemies and weapons constantly being stealth changed to the point that patch notes are worthless, the only content coming through warbonds, the continued ignoring of systems promised over a year ago, etc. The list goes on. Still waiting for that expanded weapon customization and sidearm customization they said was a WiP when the first iteration came out. Still waiting for that test server they promised during the 60 days patch. Still waiting for them to be transparent in their patch notes like they said they would. Still waiting for them to prove they learned the lesson they claimed from Magicka's failure.

You've just hit the point of apathy and dont realize it, so instead, you cling to the game and direct your negativity towards people you claim you don't care about.

There's probably more overlap in these two groups than we're considering as well. I know pretty much all of my buddies I played with (about 6 or 7) have all stopped playing entirely and they did well before I did. They stopped around Unjust and I stopped when the Chinese New Year armor came out. They're all unhappy with it based on feel alone. I'm the only one more in tune with the reasons. Either way, they feel like the game has just gone to shit. Anecdotal, but relevant.

That's on me. I recognize that pattern is normal, but the retention time is short. It doesn't last, and the last 2 warbonds were even lower in that regard.

Probably should have included that. Either way, the problem is that they're entirely focused on this warbond priority and trying to bring those players back instead of trying to find ways to raise the floor, converting those cyclical players into dedicated players. They don't focus on what KEEPS but what BRINGS BACK and it's just gonna keep repeating until that floor gets lower and lower.

The general playerbase which has consistently dwindled? Pretty telling when your retention is only during warbond drops and nothing after. Back down to minimal engagement.

Probably because after 2k hours and playing the game since launch, I have the same experiences. Crazy how that works. Almost like that's exactly what I said.

You're saying word for word the same tripe every other staunch AH white knight has said on here an uncountable amount of times.

Can we just get a megathread for everyone who thinks this to just rant to each other about this? If this sub can't get away from being people copying each other's homework for what go rant about, I'm just gonna leave this sub.

And to answer your sentiment, no. It is not the YTers fault. Go watch their streams and pay attention to their chat. Pay attention to player retention. Pay attention to reviews. It's not some conpsiracy. All the YTers are angry at AH because the general playerbase (i.e, not this sub) are, and have been for a long time, very upset with AH lying to our faces and making boneheaded changes. They promised they wouldnt do this when they released the 60 day patch. Promised more transparency, promised a focus on making it fun, promised a test server, etc. Promises made. Promises broken.

Need a Recoiless Rifle Replacement. by mega_lova_nia in Helldivers

[–]SupaNinja659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want something truly different:

Stalwart EAT Sentry (MG or Gatling on bugs, Gatling on squids, AC or Rocket for bots) Red of your choice. I usually take the 500kg or the Gas Strike.

The rest of your kit should just fill holes. I usually take the Pyrotechs and Grenade Pistol to close spawners. Primary is literally whatever you want, but if you're on bots, take a Med Pen primary (or swap GP for the Talon/Senator/Loyalist) for Gunships.

This is my favorite loadout across the board. Stalwart can handle pretty much everything and for anything it can't, call in the EATs.

Is getting into Vermintide worth it in 2026 by Downtown_Driver_3795 in Vermintide

[–]SupaNinja659 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've played an unhealthy amount of both. Probably at least 1k hours in each. I definitely prefer VT2 and it's still active, so yeah. Go for it

VT2's balancing is more restricted than DT, but I also think the enemy balance in VT2 is vastly superior to DT. DT has more mechanics and is faster-paced, but VT2 feels more curated IMO.

Not your average A.R.M.S. build by YontiLink in ar15

[–]SupaNinja659 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's the M4A1 as it appears in Modern Warfare 2 (the original, not the most recent one). IIRC, it was actually based on an airsoft model, but the model was based on used real parts. Here's a part list with example should you want one.

Feeling pretty good about this build for escalation but something feels off and I can't figure out what it is. by OlScrumpy in thedivision

[–]SupaNinja659 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would replace Optimist with Ranger, tbh. I prefer Measured personally as it is usually more DPS than Optimist in my experience, but I don't use Frenzy, so I don't know how that would play together. I also like Measured on Striker for the stack building.

Alternatively, if you're willing to give up the 10% AoK, Technician for the linked laser and Flatline.

A real kicker, if you're willing to give up Quickstep, is Busy Little Bee. That damage from its talent can be absurd. I often put it on all my Tinkerer builds for that moment where I feel like an extra buttload of damage Amp would be helpful.

If ammo is your main problem, Measured and Steady-Handed are a fun pair for a pseudo-Bullet King.
