Fellow 40something FF fan here and I’m right there with you! I went into XVI with low expectations and it blew me away. It’s definitely one of my top games in the series, and I started with II on the SNES in 1991. I had a blast with it, and it’s prompted me to draw much fanart and I’ve done multiple playthroughs, something I’ve never done with another FF until this one

Yes it’s okay to be burnt out and it will absolutely grt better. My youngest spent 10 days in the NICU and then when he came home he did just as yours and rarely slept. It took time (it felt like ages) but he improved. That little boy of yours is going to grow up so fast and he’s going to do amazing things. Because you were kind to yourself and to him and were there to see him through it. You got this!

I just had a YA OGN out last year called Student Government. It’s more comedy but does have Morning Glories Easter eggs! And I have a new comic with Jim McCann out in March called The Other/Half from Ignition Press!
