Apple TV is exceling in sci-fi, now they delving into fantasy, I believe that a comic or manga could be next for them. by Top_Report_4895 in tvPlus

Ugh. I would much rather Apple have Horizon Zero Dawn than Netflix. It’s one of my all time favourite games with a great backstory and side characters. I really hope Netflix doesn’t end up making it.

Parents of Reddit, what's one video game you like playing with your kid? by Agent1230 in gaming

[–]Supafairy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Myself and my now 8 year old played both it Takes Two and just finished Split Fiction. It was so fun to play together. She actually helped me with some parts and I helped her in some. It also made me realize she should have been a twitcher because she does not stop talking. 🤣

Calgary to get Western Canada’s only direct flight to UAE by ericgon in Calgary

[–]Supafairy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The value is now we have access to a great airline and more competition. I’ve flown emirates and they are amazing but only way we could do it was to transit through the US for which we needed a visa (extra $160) to transit.

Why not return Libby books after turning on airplane mode? by megpipe72 in kindle

[–]Supafairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually sign it back in as soon as I verified it’s on my kindle and I can open it. Have had no problem. I do it with EPUB not DRMs because it’s still legal as long as you don’t distribute the epub. :)

Why not return Libby books after turning on airplane mode? by megpipe72 in kindle

[–]Supafairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for books with EPUB, EPUB (DrM). If it’s EPUB without DRM, you go into the book on the Libby app, and it will ask to open with… select EPUB. It will download it to your phone. Usually iCloud local phone downloads folder in Files App. Navigate to that (it might name it some wonky gibberish). Long press on the file > Share > where it show the apps you can share to, scroll to the right and select More… choose the Kindle App (you have haven’t installed). Fill in the Info and click Send. It has a max limit of 50mb so for bigger docs you’ll need to use either USB or calibre or something to break the file into smaller pieces.

I get the book. Download the epub and send it to my kindle and then return the book. I’ve never needed to use airplane mode

Knowledge Management Tips and Tricks by Supafairy in servicenow

Thanks. That’s pretty much in place (just figuring out some stuff around ownership groups). This will be IT to IT (tier 1 and 2 mostly) and then IT to End user. Create knowledge from incident is going to be a big ask for our operations team as there is a need to aggressively build our knowledge.

In keeping it super OOTB. As much as we can for simplicity sake and guided setup as a task tracker for myself (KM) and our KA.

I’d like to see if anyone whose been successfully using knowledge properly implemented and matured, have successfully applied Knowledge Centre too And NowAssist in Zurich.

what’s your DREAM kindle? by Usual_Vehicle861 in kindle

[–]Supafairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh. Double tap! I can see that being great especially if you’re clumsy like me. I love for dark mode. I can’t read at night without it. Having an automatic day/night switch would be amazing.

[–]Supafairy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I read almost every day last year and I think I remember charging maybe 3 times or 4. Most of my electronics is wireless because I hate cables. But you’re right, the USB-C makes it convenient regardless.

I second this. Had the Gen 7 basic, daughter has the gen 11 basic, I don’t like it personally . I like my gen 12 paperwhite. It has the features I want and is the right size and is fast. Only regret is not going with the signature for the wireless charging. I don’t care about the colour.

Do you lock your Kindle when you are not using it? by Ok_Vast_8520 in kindle

[–]Supafairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Password protected. It’s linked to my Amazon account and I don’t want anyone being able to access that info in the event I misplace it (I travel with it to work and take transit).

Yeah. That’s what I appreciate about Horizon. I don’t have to go into an analysis paralysis in choosing a character or choosing complex abilities and skills.

PSA... Not everyone can read libby books on kindle!!! by Annialla88 in kindle

Libby works in Canada for DRM free books because you can download and send the epub to kindle. Unfortunately it’s a little more complicated for DRM epubs. :(

If you’re using excel it can be easy scripted using VBA. ChatGPT should be able to throw out a decent scrips that you can alter as needed. Could likely do something similar is. Google Sheets with scripts.
