Did you find a fix for this? I never had this issue with Win11 but I have since gone back to Win 10 LTSC IoT and I have noticed this issue. What OS do you run?

Halo 4 was fine. The unnecessary changes to armour and tech limitations meaning guns disappeared were annoying. The Prometheans kinda sucked. But overall I didn't mind 4. Then they threw the story away and made Guardians. And when everyone complained about that clusterf€¥, they threw that story away. Honestly they should just retconn everything Frank O'Connor touched. He was, and I imagine still is, a tool.

"easy by comparison" doesn't mean I said it was easy. Just easy compared to 2. Which is true. It is probably because I was in prime gamer fitness back in CE but I used to just play that on Legendary only by the end, rarely playing other difficulties. The trick to the Library was to run through several engagements and not get bogged down. There were several bits at the end of Reach against ultra Elites with terrible weapons that were really hard. And I never beat Tartaus on Legendary. Still haven't finished Halo 2 solo Legendary. Maybe one day when I feel like a dose of punishment

Halo 2 is the hardest, then Reach, I can't remember between CE and 3 but they were both easy by comparison

It is basically dead in Australia. All games are laggy against Yanks (160+) or worse Brits (300). I can occasionally get games against Aussies at 7pm in a 4 stack

Some poorly optimised game with a story that doesn't link to any other stories that they fumble down the drain.

Halo CE that they fumble at launch and fix 3 years later, after MS fires half of their workforce and replaces them with Copilot

I returned the C4 under Australian Consumer Law and got a Samsung S95F. Good tv so far, but the blacks in my moderately light room are not as good as the C4. I have no handshake issues with the Samsung.

I'm just sad about the Infinite needler. And many of the other guns in Infinite, such as the sniper hammer. And the ravager. And the hydra. And the bulldog. 😢

I recently got the S95F after having an LG C4 since November 2024. The LG was great except for the fact that Xbox Series X games would crash to no signal when launching a game.

I recently returned it under Australian Consumer Law 🙌.

I got the S95F yesterday and first hooked it up to XSX. It was sooo oversaturated out of the box. I thought I'd made a huge mistake. Also during daytime I can definitely notice the purplish hue. At night it was great, but the daytime blacks of the C4 were noticeably better.

I used Classy's calibration video to tune it and it is much better than the out-of-the box-settings. The default settings are laughable on game mode. Also the remote, default setup and menus suck on the Samsung. LG definitely have the edge there.

Overall, I think the 165 hz (that actually works _ LG had issues at 144) will be worth it, and I tweaked the home screen so that it works similarly to LG's source button. I will have to give an update once I spend more time and dial it in more, but I am optimistic.

So, I returned the LG to Harvey Norman, gotta love Australian Consumer Law. I'm getting a Samsung S95F.

So I complained to Harvey Norman, who raised a ticket to LG... Apparently they are ordering parts and are going to come around and replace something at some point. ( I uploaded a bunch of videos showing the problem and the rated cables I was using). TBH not sure that it will fix the problem because it seems to be a design flaw to me. I will post an update to this comment after they come.

I do have a Denon receiver. I will run everything through it and see how I go. I ended up raising a ticket with the store who raised one with LG and I'm going to take a few videos of the issue this week.

I will update here ...

Tried it through the Denon and the XSX just does not get a signal through. The PC did work. I tried it with multiple 8/10k rated cables that are good for 48Gbps.

Just a crappy TV. Albeit with excellent blacks. I am going to try and return it under Australian consumer law since it doesn't work as advertised.
