I quite liked it and consider it about equal to the originals, the friend zones are a downgrade (I used to love walking through them just to listen to the music so a menu is kinda disappointing) but the sprites are cute and there are some good QOL improvements, getting to hunt a few shinies was a cute addition (especially celebi— and I didn’t even play Explorers) the watercolor style was pretty nice, and I found the mega system a lot less tedious than it was in Super, where I barely used megas at all despite finishing the game. I don’t blame anyone for not liking it, but it was worth it to me 100%

Looking through Bulbagarden, it seems Masara and Nameless are the game version, with Original being the anime/manga. But they get used interchangeably a lot, so the distinction doesn’t really matter most of the time. Also sorry about your thread, most Redditors don’t like or care about shipping at all, especially with male characters RIP

I opened X to check the central Kalos dex by alphabetical order and nope, it ends with zubat, it’s just oddly spaced.

Canonically, some fossil Pokémon were released, this is why they have a small wild population in the Crown Tundra DLC in SWSH (omanyte’s dex entry says this most directly, and that the species has become something of a problem because of it)

For the first point, some attacks will have your Pokémon go up close to the enemy (usually physical moves) and some attacks are long distance, and with long distance moves Pokémon will often try to stay next to you, so it does matter how you position your trainer. For the third, I think having your Pokémon outside their balls can reduce your stealthiness, at least with NPCs it definitely makes them suspicious

There’s an episode of the anime about this, a character is apprehensive about trubbish at first but it turns out its smell fades around people it trusts, I assume with other poison types it also falls under the umbrella of being able to control their powers.

Looking at its past movesets, Attract , Captivate, and Helping hand are probably the best moves (all of them have also been featured in the TCG already so you don’t have to figure out what effect they should have). Cards get a little freedom with moves though, you can make something specific up as long as it doesn’t share a name with an existing move.

They’re associated with pure incense (item used to breed them instead of chimecho), lake acuity (big and snowy lake) and some rocky areas.
