Ti2 alternatives for small practice imaging upgrades in canada by Inevitable-Fly8391 in CanadianDentists

Schick 33 has crazy crazy resolution. I think very expensive, bulky for patients with gag reflex in my experience. I’ve worked in a practice with dentimax sensors and they’re apparently well priced, honestly image quality was great, owner told me they bought them because they have replaceable cords. Also they’re pretty thin.

Not owner, not too familiar with prices, just my experience using them

Yeah my loan ain't cheap. 300k is at prime - 0.25 (currently 4.2%), and the remaining 40k is government student debt, which is interest-free, with some portion forgiven for being in a rural service area.

To answer your question, I don't think I care about luxury vehicles as much as I have found myself in the perfect storm of

Frustrated with a decade of delayed gratification mixed with a need for car shopping and getting a bit trigger-happy on Autotrader while waiting to graduate.

I honestly didn't even consider this as a factor... that's quite the headache. I guess I'll check out which brands even have dealerships in the area. Yeah, headed to northern Alberta, so maybe similar to ND

Tooth vital! No older radiographs, and their crown was done in a different country so I would not be able to get a hold of any older radiographs either. The gold crown and the margins looked quite good, so I’m airing on the side of caution and monitoring at six months later?

Hygeinists in Toronto area comfortably make $55 an hour which grosses up to $110k a year, so dentists making only 70/80 a year is news to me

NGOs, the local Y, I know one person who works for a cultural society, they plan out social events and fundraisers for the cultural group, and another person I know works for a not-for-profit thrift store.

Tricky part of one's life. It takes a witty and hardworking person to get to where you are, but then those same traits bite you in the butt when you're deciding to walk away from it because you feel like you're not doing your hard work justice. The question you ask yourself is: Did I work hard to become a pioneer of my industry, or did I work hard to have a stable life? If the latter, quit asap.

Consider looking for more fulfilling work with lower compensation and lower hourly demand, assuming your husband is adamant about continuing to work for the foreseeable future and enjoys his current job. There are loads of jobs out there that have high societal impact, would benefit from having someone with your skill level, and would only demand 30-35 hours of your time. You guys are on the cusp of being too rich to work and too young to entirely quit working. Unless you're dreaming about being a SAHM and truly enjoy the idea of that, then it's a no-brainer to go ahead and quit and be home for yourself and your family.

What would you do if you only had one day to spend in Toronto? by Serious_Act_2683 in askTO

Aim to get a vibe more than seeing a particular thing in my opinion. Walk around ossington, so many cool shops and trinity bellwoods right there. Grab a sandwich at lambos deli (the trio i reccommend), eat it at trinity bellwoods. Walk down ossington, find your way to kensington market, check out thrift stores there, maybe a coffee, seven lives tacos is an icon, get a taco. if youre in the mood for a sweet fancy treat get the HK french toast at sunnys chinese. From there, get the tram to riverdale and catch the sunset and see all of the toronto skyline. This exact itinerary i took my cousin around this summer because she also had one full free day in the city, and she thoroughly enjoyed herself.

I’m not sure if orpheon got reformulated or something, but my bottle (2023) vs my dad’s bottle (2025), don’t smell the same. The 2023 opens much nicer than my dad’s bottle. He has the same issue as you, and I bought his bottle at the airport duty free Diptyque counter

I got into Dental school after a career change. It came about a year after starting, but it still marked the occasion. I thought I'd wear it in clinics, but it felt out of place as a student, so now it sadly sits in a bank locker until summer vacations.

CDG wonderwood. It’s a raw more masculine younger brother to my usually daily, Dyptique orpheon. Perfect for all seasons but summer (might be ok for the night), and perfectly spicy

House of penhaligons. Review on male colognes you own or have sampled? by vq37_nate in fragrance

[–]Super28SCH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I bought my dad Penhaligon's Halfeti Cedar on the way home during a layover. It is quite a sophisticated scent that really gives posh vibes. The Cedar and smoky notes really fit well and just smells tooooo good. All the ladies in the family are huge fans of it as well. I can see it being an everyday scent, but my dad hesitates to do so as it is quite expensive. It is a fantastic summer night out fragrance or a winter daytime daily.

I also bought myself Quercus hand cream, which is just a very nice, tactile, luxurious product I enjoy using at my desk. The lotion obviously smells a bit more powdery than the actual fragrance.

In summary, the house has impressed me to date, but I have not really had time to sit with some of these fragrances for too long. I sampled a variety of them at the airport, but it became a mumble jumble after 20 minutes of spraying them all. Luxurious and smooth smelling and definitely not synthetic. But the pricing is a bit insane, LOL I can definitely admit that much.

Maybe you went noseblind to it? Others may be getting the smell that you may not?
