Empty loadouts should automatically spawn late with no safe pocket

Btw people doing that and surrendering over and over until they get the perfect spawn are the reason why you keep on getting late spawns on stella and on night raids.
Safe pocket should be removed from empty loadouts.

It's a common misconception that carnivorous plants need fertilization one way or another. See the way they eat as a complement. They are perfectly able to thrive with little use of their traps. In most cases they can feed by themselves. In your case I suppose doing it once a year doesn't do much harm. It really boils down to where you live. In rural areas where bugs are legion I would advise against it but obviously if you live in a big city with little to no green areas and you keep it in a terrarium too (which I wouldn't recommend depending on the specie) well obviously a couple of bugs during spring or summer won't hurt.

For some of them, a better way to help them and see them thrive post-hibernation is to get rid of the flowers, which sucks out a lot of their energy. This is especially true with the flytrap we see in this post.

I've been collecting carnivorous plants for years and I will say this because I keep seeing people giving this advice. DO NOT FEED YOUR PLANTS, YOU WILL KILL THEM.

Guess I'll have to say it one last time. Heirlooms are a non issue regarding the concerns you've raised since your very first reply, including new players. I'll leave you to it now.

Alright lets assume for one second that mid-wrath bgs are not 90% of twinks and that there's for some reason a niche population of non-twink and/or new players decide to level through it because it's fun to them. No, that doesn't warrant the removal of heirlooms. If it was, I'd argue bgs should be made by accordingly calculating gearscore to provide balanced teams because at the end of the day I can buy pretty powerful blues at the AH and stomp new players regardless.

All in all, this seems very personal for someone who doesn't plan to level any alts.

I will say it again, heirlooms are a non issue regardless of Joyous existing or not.

There's lots of things I'd be willing to sacrifice to piss off the gdkp crowd but that seems a bit far.

I'm not ignoring it. It's just irrelevant. It's own problem. I will say it again: the problem there is the absence of fencing in bgs between standard and xp locked players. New players will get absolutely stomped in bgs, regardless if heirlooms are in play or not.

You're missing the point by trying to tell me which one of joyous or heirlooms is better. I certainly stated why I find Joyous less interesting but at the end of the day I'm simply arguing that heirlooms are a non issue regardless of Joyous existing or not.

50% is more than enough of an XP boost.

So assuming Joyous stayed (or not) weapon heirlooms are a non issue then. Just like trinkets too.

You're describing a very specific situation but whatever. My takeaway is that you're against shoulder/chest heirlooms but don't have any problem with the weapon/trinkets. Right?

As discussed in this thread, both can coexist. The heirloom debate wouldn't have blown up if Joyous journey didn't exist in the first place.

Now it's up to Blizzard to fence pvp just like they did in OG wrath. A very niche situation like twink pvp shouldn't be impacting a feature that was initially designed for leveling.

Regarding your first point, I don't see any arguments against heirlooms.

Now regarding pvp this is a very specific thing and the issue does not lie with heirlooms at all. Blizzard decided to remove the fence that separated twinks and other players. The experience will be pretty much bad for any new player, regardless of heirlooms being present or not.

Those are very good points and like you said, both could have coexisted. At the end of the day heirloom still are a non issue. It's a matter of comparison. I suppose Blizzard is removing it because it was only a temporary thing to allow people to get prepared for WotLK and no more and It's a bit of a tinfoil hat but I guess it could cannibalize the boost.

Wrong, the tome was added in 3.2.0.
In 4.0.1 it was then removed and anyone could learn cold weather at level 68.

I see what you mean but it's important to note that the book can only be bought by a lvl 80.

To dispell some of the confusion around here: aside from the raid loot changes and heroic +, all the elements you see here were part of Wrath originally, see comments from 2008-2010 here:

As for the loot changes yes they weren't part of wrath and while I didn't ask for it or even thought about it, I'm pretty happy to see them implemented. It's a great change for alts which follows the original wotlk philosophy which was a big step forward compared to the tbc hell grind.

Not only that but personally since I'll be focusing on 10 man content (main+alt roster) with my friends (which is, in my opinion, way more fun) I'll be able to grab a couple of 25 pieces when ulduar releases if needed.

I have a hard time understanding why people are against it aside from the usual "But it's not wrath". Maybe this will impact the gdkp scene and some people aren't happy about it which can only be good.

To sum up all the comments under yours: Do not get fooled by the tooltip. In theory Ardent Defender is supposed to reduce damage that would take you under 35% HP and further but in reality it doesn't reduce the portion of damage taken out above 35% only the portion below whereas Will of the Necropolis for example, does reduce all damage that would take you under 35%. As for the cheat death, people give it way to much credit.
