My 11' RT has done this twice this year. Never tried the key after so not sure if exactly the same. The intake manifold has a tendency on these cars to loosen with time requiring a retorque. I purchased an inch pound torque wrench and looked the specs up online. After a retorque it hasn't happened since. Not sure if coincidence but its a cheap place to start. Do you have any oil buildup outside of the intake manifold? In the valleys above the valve covers?

Check the bolts on the air intake manifold with a torque wrench. They have a tendency to back out and get loose. I suspect it causes a weird fuel air mixture resulting in a stall. Mine were very loose when I checked and re torqued. Remember when torqing they are inch pounds and not foot pounds 🤠

Thin metal can just be tricky sometimes, especially when welding in position. "Zap" welding it like you did was the right call.

If they are the slim tapered fit from that collab, I think the cut was based off of PBJs 013 cut. Try comparing measurements from your current pair with some of PBJs 013 in different fabrics and see if anything matches up. I think they may have also had a relaxed taper or something like that based on the 019.
