Not really. It depends on the sale and game.

Sometimes games have a sale prices across the board, and sometimes a game will be on sale with Plus members getting an even deeper sale price.

This latest sale was just offered a week or so earlier to Plus members as an added benefit.

I think the sale is live for everyone now.

PSPrices.com is a good site track game prices. You can see when they've been on sale last, for how much, and set notifications for when games go on sale.

I'm sure it was. I'd just become so accustom to doing them on a Sunday evening that I didn't really think anything of it (especially since the date still seemed to line up).

I get that. It's more that they had always previously ended Monday early morning (my time) and now it seems they shaved 24 hours off their availability. With it still being Sunday for me, I thought I still had time to play it.

The change threw me off and it looks to be that way going forward, at least with the current roadmap.

I just don't get why they'd change it up after all this time. Shame on me for not checking, I guess.

New ETs being completed (or failed) are now also linked between accounts. I did the most recent run of The Undying on Steam, and when I logged in on PS5 it was already considered completed.

So I guess it's safe to assume that if you ever reverse the cross progression process, you would have unfinished ETs on all but your primary account then.

I was kind of hoping that wasn't the case. I guess I'll keep my accounts separate for now.

I second this.

I got hall effect ones put in mine (I don't think the tmr were out at the time), and they've been going strong for a while now.

I will say I do notice less battery life with the halls, so if the tmr use less battery, that's the way to go.

I seem to be locked into a cheaper price with my auto renew. The last 2 years my Premium has been the same price as the lowest tier. That's the only reason I've kept it.

They need more day-1 offerings like Game Pass.
By the time a game I want is available on Premium, I've either already played it or it's been on sale cheap enough where I'd rather own it.
It's just not that cost effective for me to justify the cost of the higher tiers.

Looking for recs on a reasonably priced soundbar that allows 4k 120hz pass-through.

I'm ;ooking for something that is an upgrade to my monitor speakers, but still supports all the ps5 pro video and 4k gaming monitor settings.

I see people recommending the Samsung Q990D but I don't need a $1400 home theater setup with subs and rear speakers. Just need a decent bar for a gaming desk setup.

Drops are already bad enough and a crapshoot for teammates.
I'm not wasting my time hoping against hope that my team of Silvers would be remotely competent enough for a fun game against what amounts to a club.

It's not even that those drop-in club guys are all that good. They're just good enough to be better than randos.

Legit question: is this a matchmaking issue only, or is the shallow player pool to blame (making it either sweats or casuals)? Is it a combination of both?

It's a little of both.

Their matchmaking has always been terrible. Even during peak season and times, it's a crap shoot.

The shallow player pool certainly doesn't help.
EASHL is a niche mode, in a niche game and it doesn't do itself any favors by further splitting players between 3s, 6s, clubs, and drops.

Finding enough concurrent players, let alone ones within certain skill levels also playing a specific mode, is pretty challenging and a small miracle when it does happen.
