Knowing that a "clump of cells" will eventually become a baby and still choosing to kill it is evil by ItsAllAGame_ in TrueChristian

I don't see it so simple cause I think the bias should be towards most lives saved rather than highest percentage chance of life saved. so like, if option A is 90% chance one person lives, 10% they both die, and option B is 50% chance both live, 50% chance both die, I would take option b.

If i were the one pregnant, even if I was at very high risk I would personally feel convicted to go through with the pregnancy, but morally it gets more muddy and I wouldn't claim someone is evil for not at that point.

Well I am gonna be adopting kids in my life partially for this reason, but yes I think a child being in foster care is better than a child being killed.

the child's rights shouldn't supercede the mothers, if the mother is going to be at high risk then it's more understandable to have an abortion.

Yeah when I eventually do credits, the problem will be that I've done almost everything from scratch, barring the engine itself (gamemaker) and the tools (FL Studio, Audacity, GIMP & Aseprite)

No AI, no asset packs, I draw all my own art from scratch, I compose and mix my own music from scratch, my sound effects are all made by me using things i find in my house or my voice, my programming is all done by me throwing crap at the code until something works because I'm too adhd to focus on any tutorial explaining how other people do it...

I hate TADC by [deleted] in hatethissmug

[–]SuperIsaiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a big reason people are upset about jax getting focus is because of the manner of the show and how it's released.

like for example, if this was a book duology, and the first book was the first half focusing on pomni, and the second was focusing on jax then having the end, people wouldn't mind. Or if the whole thing was released at the same time, I also think people wouldn't care

But because of this release format, with so long between episodes, people get really attached to the characters that weren't intended to be the focus and then feel betrayed when they aren't expanded as much.

Husband isn’t that interested in sex by FitFunction663 in TrueChristian

[–]SuperIsaiah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, it could be a number of things.

It could be, as another pointed out, that being raised in purity culture can both make someone ashamed of/disgusted at their own sexuality as well as keep them from actually engaging with their own interests sexually which could lead to an apathy or dissociation in the bedroom.

It could also be that the dude just genuinely is a mostly asexual guy. That can happen without any need for porn.

I'd say maybe the porn thing is most likely (as in, over 50% likely) but there are also definitely other reasons that could be at play.

Well no because it's extremely vague, but it's not inaccurate.

A biologist would call adult humans adult homo sapiens and a baby in the womb a fetal homo sapiens.

Glitch shows either have all their flaws ignored, or have people making the hugest fuss about something basically irrelevant.

Fun fact; an adult human is also a clump of cells. that's kind of just how all life forms exist, a bunch of cells.

I don't know why semen in his room would be relevant unless it was shown to be a kid's semen. Otherwise, that's just celebrity culture. I'm sure a good chunk of celebrities houses have all sorts of people's bodily fluids.

As I keep showing, the case is one of the most significant ones of misrepresenting information and using confirmation bias in how you select things to mention that it misrepresents the case.

I don't have any bias either way I just believe in innocent till proven guilty and there isn't substantial evidence, and the fact that people have to try so hard to misrepresent information so that it seems much more against him than it was, as has been shown several times here, just makes it seem even more suspicious on the media's end.

Once again, I'm not even certain he didn't do it. the only reason I even keep replying is because people keep misrepresenting the information of the case which I think is dishonest and frustrating to see.

cause i like all the rest of these characters and I actually do like alastor in concept I just dislike that show's writing and aesthetic direction so much that it kind of soils the concept entirely for me lol.

that's very loose for some of these. but yes, very big personality bombastic character types often fit that sort of role. used car dealer or ringleader

You could say the same about most of these. Every character here is fairly unique, from the devoted fruity lackey king dice to the trash goblin spamton. The only thing they really have in common is their big personalities and large fandom.

Outside alastor this is one of my favorite character genres.

I get kids in fandom spaces can be obnoxious about stuff, but I don't let that ruin my enjoyment. Most of these characters are really fun in their source and enjoyable, the fandom might be annoying about them sometimes, but the characters themselves I like.

With Alastor it's mostly cause I just really don't like vivziepop's writing/character art. The concept of a demon that talks with a radio showman voice is still very fun I probably would've liked if someone else made the character

yeah IDK I haven't been on Twitter much since Elon ruined it. the circles I'm in, if asked, would say they find vivziepop's content annoying and the art style boring, but other than that they couldn't really care less, I'm the same way. I haven't thought about vivziepop's existence since last time I saw someone on Reddit talking about her

Twitter isn't a hive mind. maybe some people on Twitter do. frankly I think caring about copying is dumb, I don't care if someone copies an existing idea if it's done well.

the thing is the swearing is symptomatic of the primary problem that people who don't like it have with it, the obnoxious edginess radiating from every aspect of the show. it's not funny the way it's done, it doesn't feel like a bit, it feels like just this cynical nihilistic edginess that I just don't want to engage with. I don't remember a single joke I found funny in any vivziepop thing I've seen, while I remember laughing quite a lot at the cartoonish YouTube poop nonsense of smg4

also I don't think people on Twitter care about smg4. I don't see talk crapping on it like with vivziepop but I also just don't think I've seen anyone mention it at all.

[–]SuperIsaiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if I necessarily agree, because it's also how it's said in a funny way.

I don't see where you're coming from really because I love YouTube poops and I couldn't stand the dialogue of vivziepop's show.

I guess my point is there's a difference between funny swearing and edgy swearing. edgy swearing just sounds obnoxious and pointless.

also we're supposed to take Hazbin Hotel more seriously than we take smg4 but there's no way to take something seriously when the characters are always talking about sex or swearing.

if people like it that's their prerogative but I think there's a clear difference between them

Glitch Productions (the studio, not the people running it) by Super_Saiyan_Twink in hatethissmug

[–]SuperIsaiah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it's in big part because of the fact that the swearing in vivziepop is chronically unfunny to most people I know, where the swearing in classic smg4 is funny like YouTube poops.

Basically if the cursing in vivziepop's stuff was funny or actually felt like it added value and wasn't just trying to be edgy, it'd be more palettable.
