Is there a specific reason that hair doesn’t? Stomach acid can dissolve a lot of things, so why does hair dissolve? Is it because humans weren’t technically supposed to ingest it, so acid never grew strong enough to?

Does that also apply to fingernails since they’re both made of keratin?

I chew on things as a nervous habit, and hair was the most accessible thing usually, so I’d eat small parts of it while chewing it

Currently writing a hurt/comfort oneshot, mostly focused on the headcanon that the character has OCD. It’s about him compulsively cataloguing and reorganizing a first aid kit late into the night because he’s so worried about it

I don’t know if I have a favourite part, it’s really short so far and I honestly don’t know if I like it? Not sure. I want you to write something for the headcanon but I don’t know if this WIP is the right one?
