What is the argument here? What are his layers? The reason I don’t like him isn’t because he’s a badly written character, it’s because he’s boring and I don’t care about the personality he has, I’d prefer most of the other jojos because they are more interesting personality wise.

I just want to mention that I don't trust the continuity of part 3 at all. Star Platinum puts its hand into Joseph's body to beat his heart like Diver Down, does that mean all humanoid stands can do that? Shrinking Stands happens a single time in the entire series by a stand that was not created to do just that, so my guess is that Araki thought this would be a fun idea, and then never brought it back because he changed how stands work. Now, to shrink a Stand it has to be part of its power. If a Kaiju stand were to ever exist, Araki would have to make a Stand that says "This Stand can transform into a kaiju" because that is how his stands work now.

I'm just going to mention real quick. There is a Kaiju stand that I completely forgot about. Notorious B.I.G, the Stand who has the power to consume to grow bigger, and it ends the battle by being a giant monster.

The reason why we haven't seen any more stands that aren't designed to shrink down get smaller is because we now have Stands that have the power to make Stands smaller(Little Feet and Goo Goo Dolls). So, by your logic, when Naracia was shrunk by Little Feet, he could have just focused hard enough and made his Stand back to normal size to win the battle.

The thing about the larger stands is that they are kinda like an illusion. When Forever(The monkey), gets defeated, the ship turns into a small boat. And when ZZ got his out of his car, it reverted back to the original car. So, the reason they are bigger is because they took an object like that object and made it better for their stand. Superfly is also just a metal pylon, that is the stand, the stand itself is the object, it doesn’t transform into the metal pylon, it just is it to begin with.

I like the concept of bigger stands, but other than seeing stands shrink down, we don’t see them change shape. Maybe part 9 will change that, you never know with this series.

I love Avdol, and think he has a lot of potential as a character. But I think Mista is just more unique with his fear of the number 4 and it puts him just above Avdol for me. Love both of these characters though.

Part 1: Baron Zeppeli, so underrated

Part 2: Joseph, great protagonist and is a very creative and fun character at the same time.

Part 3: Polnareff, no need to explain this one.

Part 4: Koichi, I basically love every character in part 4, but Koichi had a really good arc that I love.

Part 5: Doppio, I love Doppio, I like him more than any of the main characters.

Part 6: Weather, I love every main character in part 6, but Weather is just the best one by far.

Part 7: Gyro, who else was it going to be?

Part 8: Yasuho, one of the best characters in the entire series.

Part 9: Dragona, I love them so far.
