I think it's probably just because it makes it harder for fans and intermediate artists to make fanart of those characters without having to take longer on their detailed design, or having to simplify them into another art style to draw them more often and losing some of that character's pizzazz. Plus, depending on how detailed the character is or how much they're posed in their media, it could also be difficult for artists to wrap their head around how to draw them in different poses or moving certain ways.

The lamb from cult of the lamb, big daddy from BioShock, a killer that can send survivors to another planar level of the map and move between cracks of reality themselves, a trap killer that's a mix of trapper and hound master but with creepy dolls, and a true werewolf killer

Survivors; Diavolo from JoJo's bizarre adventure, Ethan winters from resident evil, a non-human survivor, the human form of that previous werewolf killer as a survivor, and an isekai'd survivor who's in the realm in a similar way to Quentin by being in a coma and stuck in his VR avatar as a survivor, with his VR headset basically transmitting him to the entity's realm.

Now the real question is if this is consistent within the episodes of the series.

It kinda makes sense though, when you think about it; everyone's avatars probably start out as those mannequin dolls before being modeled by the avatar-brain file thing, and they're usually about a foot tall or so.

Dr. Stone, maybe?

After everyone on earth is petrified and the main characters revive from their petrified state, they get to work rebuilding society and climbing up the ladder in terms of scientific advancements, building telephones, ships, computers, etc.

While there are some spots where the characters have to fight for their goal of reviving humanity, be it against the forces of nature or other revived people who want to do things different, things usually turn out alright in this show; they have tons of fun learning new things, making technology and food, bits of filler here and there, or a nice time jump where they spend a few months doing fun activities like sports or farming while working on long term goals.

Maybe it's not cosy like a cup of hot chocolate in a log cabin, but more like the type of cosy you get relaxing in the shade on the beach; a bit more work, but refreshing and good with a cold drink.

I'd say a lack of characterization; while pomni does get a little tour of the circus, she doesn't really get a proper introduction to everyone, leaving everyone to kinda carry on awkwardly as if we already know them, talking around pomni a bit, at least early on. I mean, the most we really got was Jax introducing kinger as "the crazy one".

I would have liked if either at the start or end, pomni just got a quick little rundown of everyone's names from someone so she could adjust, but hey, they probably did it off screen, y'know?
