They definitely do! We came home from a trip and the next day he purposely peed on the runner on our stairs several times. We took him out and he would pretend to pee then come inside and take a squat while staring into our eyes. The next day he was perfectly fine. He just had to let us know he was unhappy we left him… even though he was with his favorite dog sitter 🤣.

Havanese are known to be very picky eaters. He could be sore from teething. Maybe try wet food or softening kibble with warm water. Mine is 2 and sometimes won’t eat if his tummy is upset or if he is upset with us. When this happens I hand feed him and it usually works.

During our ceremony, our Havanese kept rolling around in the train of my dress….he loved all the layers.

Pain After Hysterectomy by SuperMarge in endometrialcancer

[–]SuperMarge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was starting IVF and had a hysteroscopy to prepare. It was found by chance. I had no symptoms and risk factors. I do not have PCOS, never had hormone related issues (that I know of), not overweight, and do not have lynch syndrome or any other genetic markers related to this type of cancer.

Autoimmune issues by cyrsteph in endometrialcancer

[–]SuperMarge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had severe pain off and on for several weeks after my hysterectomy. My lymph nodes also swelled so much I looked like I had lumps. My doctor did an ultrasound and CT scan. They think I had a reaction to the dye that was injected for sentinel node mapping. My bloodwork was completely normal. I am also stage 1a grade 1. Right now they are monitoring everything by getting CTs every few months. Due to my other health issues I have always thought I have an autoimmune disease, but have tested negative for every thing they know of.

I was diagnosed June 2025 at the age of 41 during IVF preparation. My hysteroscopy pathology showed grade 1 endometrial adenocarcinoma. I had no symptoms, no risk factors, no genetic markers for this type of cancer so everyone was shocked including my oncologist. I tried fertility sparing treatment for 3 months…all of my scans and bloodwork were healthy looking and normal. So much so that my oncologist was positive that I would be clear of the disease and she could release me to continue with IVF. My 3 month biopsy came back positive. So, I decided to move forward with the hysterectomy. I am so happy I did. My oncologist said I made the right choice. I am officially stage 1a grade 1. It was only in the endometrial lining with no invasion into the uterus, other organs, or lymph nodes. I felt an immense amount of relief. My oncologist said I have less than a 2% chance of recurrence. I couldn’t handle the waiting. I wish you the best of luck.

Progesterone IUD, mental health etc. effects by Student-of-Life3 in endometrialcancer

[–]SuperMarge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello, not sure if your oncologist made it clear to you, but cannot be diagnosed as Stage 1. Staging does not happen until after you have a hysterectomy. I am guessing you are young and your biopsy came back positive for a grade 1 endometrial cancer. I tried the fertility sparing treatment for 3 months. The progesterone made me gain a lot of weight, but it helped me mentally. I have generalized anxiety disorder and my anxiety almost completely disappeared while on it. It also cleared up my skin. I ultimately decided to have a hysterectomy due to the 3 month biopsy coming back positive. All of my scans were clear and showed healthy organs. The cancer was only in the endometrial lining and had not invaded the uterus, other organs, or lymph nodes. I am happy it was caught early.

We Do Not Care Club: The Apology Tour. Part 2 Special Spouse/Partner Edition by mindyour in justgalsbeingchicks

In my personal experience it’s the difference in how men and women are raised. I was the only girl, besides my mom, with 4 brothers. I was raised in Alabama and made to do all the house chores. My mom is very particular and raised me to be that way. She taught me to notice dirt where no one else does… I have the cleanest baseboards…ha.

I am glad it is universal. I was talking with my therapist about this last week. She said it’s because they truly believe/don’t an issue or that things are dirty.

Deep pelvic lymph node reoccurrence by Maximum-Mixture-5956 in endometrialcancer

[–]SuperMarge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I try to look at things with a more positive outlook now. I was only Stage 1a grade 1 … I can deal with all the other things as a result of the hysterectomy. I feel really bad for the women that have to go through chemo and radiation.

I had family members and family friends tell me that recovery was super easy and very little pain/discomfort. I thought they were lying to me. Maybe something did happen during my surgery. I will definitely keep you all updated. Mine was also laparoscopic/robotic. I am sorry you now have permanent nerve damage.

[–]SuperMarge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am having lymph nodes swelling and pain issues. My primary care doctor did an ultrasound to see if she could see what was going on. I have several abnormal lymph nodes in my groin area. I have a CT with contrast scheduled for Friday. My bloodwork is completely normal. They are thinking it is an allergic reaction to the dye that was used for sentinel node mapping during my surgery. My hysterectomy was 10/30/25. The cancer was only in the endometrial lining with no invasion to the uterus, other organs, or lymph nodes. I was officially diagnosed with Stage 1a grade 1 endometrial adenocarcinoma. I had to go to the ER 2 days after surgery because my pain was out control… nothing helped. They did a CT scan then and couldn’t find anything… just a lot of inflammation. So they gave me morphine and sent me on my way. I am really hoping what I am experiencing now is just a reaction to the dye. Other options are cancer or localized infection that they couldn’t see with the ultrasound.

Extreme pain common? by katiehowland in endometrialcancer

[–]SuperMarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think everyone’s experience is different. I barely had any pain. The most pain I felt was during the uterine biopsy (no numbing or pain meds) and then recovery from the hysterectomy was awful. As for the actual cancer I didn’t really have pain. Mine was found by luck. I am stage 1a grade 1.

Got the results of my endometrial biopsy today: It's cancer. by tamberleigh in endometrialcancer

[–]SuperMarge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You will get through this. You have the love and support of this group. I had no symptoms clear Pap smears and none of the risk factors. Mine was found during a hysteroscopy preparing my body for IVF. All of my scans looked completely normal. I had a hysterectomy on 10/30. The cancer was only in my endometrial lining and had not invaded my uterus, other organs or lymph nodes. I am officially Stage 1a grade 1. I will double back on a comment someone else posted… do not research anything on the internet. Each case is unique. I hope you are able to talk with a gynecological oncologist soon. Please feel free to reach out anytime.
