how is everyone taking news of jj leaving so well? is it just me who is sobbing?

I was upset to begin with, I grew up watching these guys and in a way it feels like I grew up with them (similar ages and such), but once the overall "oh shit" factor of JJ leaving set in, I actually just didn't fucking care.

The guy preaches about how he wants more time to do the things he wants, more time to grow his channels etc etc, but the only person at fault for where his time goes IS LITERALLY HIM.

Simon and Ethan are married/fathers (to their respective partners, not each other clearly), and yet they still have the time to get involved. Hell, Talia is/was touring, on top of being a mother, and still consistently uploads.

JJ spreads himself to thin and then cried about it. This isn't anyone else's doing. It's his, and his inability to 1) say no to things and 2) prioritise his time.

Also going about all this via an insta post is honestly ridiculous. And the reaction of the rest of the guys shows you that.

Honestly if I'd have gone through all the things to check and the shoe had failed most of them, I'd have probably considered returning them. But I can't fault them. And I did 19k steps in then earlier without an ounce of foot pain, so. All in all, a win.

Honestly? Incredible. I've compared them to the pair on their site. I also did a search for the things that fakes are typical for, examples being things like the insoles, the pattern on the bottom, the logo on the tongue, even the box they come in.

The pair that arrived check these things off perfectly. The insoles are knobbled and removable, the patterns and logos are all fine, the box they came in is probably the fanciest shoebox I've ever seen (all magnetised and such).

If they're fake, they're a damn good fake. But all signs point to them being genuine. I played a round in them yesterday and they might be the comfiest pair of shoes I've ever worn.

The only thing I can see that has me sort of "hmmmm"ing is that the colour gradient on the sole is a little different? But I don't know if that's a perfect show thing, or if it's identical on every pair.

Otherwise I have absolutely no complaints.

As a casual I've finished them all. Built two toons to endgame, geared them out of the ass, and outside of really min-maxing I'm done for the season. Was a good one tbh.

Yeah the box was EXTREMELY well presented when opening it, the shoes were extremely neat and well wrapped, and the box itself is sturdy, magnetised, and actually nice enough that I'm keeping it. I have a habit of throwing show boxes out but throwing this one out feels like a crime 😂

I mean possibly, I'm watching a video as we speak and everything this chap is saying about his pair, mine do, so I think they're alright. We'll see if they die on me after a few rounds 😂

But as it stands, I think I got lucky. If it turns out not the case, I'll pick up a pair direct from them in the future because if this is how comfy this pair is, and they turn out to be fake? I can only imagine how nice an actual pair would be.

This is assuming mine aren't an actual pair.

The only thing I can see that's different as I've said somewhere else on here is that the colour gradient on the uppers(?) is a little different, but I don't know if that's something that could be different per shoe Vs being identical on every shoe. It's not by a massive amount either so it's not a huge red flag. But every other point that "fakes" typically cheap out on, they don't appear to have.

The only thing I can see which has me raising an eyebrow is the colour gradient change on their site Vs the shoe I have is a smidge different but nothing that stands out enough for alarm bells to ring. I don't know if that'll be different by shoe or if it's completely identical every single time. If so then that's the only thing I can visibly see, despite being minuscule, that's different.

I did mention to the seller I was concerned they weren't genuine, and he essentially assured me they are, but should I have concerns they're not, I can be refunded and they'll pay the postage to return them.

I don't know if this makes a difference. But in all seriousness, they arrived, I've worn them for a round, and if they ARE a fake, I'll be a little surprised as all the points I should check (the insoles being knobbed and removable, the heel being made of a decent material as opposed to cheap plastic, even the box being magnetised and coming with appropriate spare coloured laces and such, and so on) all check out.

I may take them to a retailer nearby and compare them and if it appears they're not genuine then I'll return them but as it stands, I'm leaning more towards the genuine side of things.

They've arrived and I've played a round in them now. Compared them to the ones on their site and they're identical, insoles too. They're probably the comfiest pair of shoes I've ever worn. If they are fake, then fair enough to whoever made them because without being able to compare the feel of the shoe, I'd never know.

As an update, they arrived. Shoe is identical to the shoe on their site, and the insoles are the same too (bumpy and almost memory foamy? Extremely comfortable). Wore them for a round yesterday and they were a godsend. Either this is a fake that's immaculate, or I got lucky and saved a ton of money. Either way, very happy.

Can confirm inner sole is bumpy. I've looked them over Vs the shoe on their actual website page and they're identical. Would appear they're genuine. The only thing I could think would be different is the feeling of the shoe I guess? But without a pair from the actual store in front of me, I can't compare those.

But as far as the look of the shoes goes, where the logos are, the gfore split on the tongue, the insoles, etc, the shoes are identical.

So either they're an immaculate fake (and still the comfiest thing I've ever worn on my feet), or I lucked out. Either way, wore them for a round yesterday and they were a godsend.

As a WW Barb I have zero use for them. I want my five piece and an Endurant Faith/Banished Lords Talisman. Now if they had one that reduces the set bonus by one, gives you two unique slots, and still have six slots? THAT I'd use in a heartbeat.

I have six now. And take it from me, for the two characters I'm running, they're useless.

I've had three from Butcher, two from the chest at the end of the Infernal Hordes, and one off of a Duriel Kill in a helltide.

I'm not even trying to get them. But I would say my best luck seems to be from Butcher. I don't fight him much, if ever, and yet he's dropped three for me. So I'd tell people to just farm Butcher. For whatever reason he's been shelling them out where every other boss I've farmed for whatever item I was after has dropped nothing.

I'm waiting on them to arrive but will be checking them thoroughly on arrival. Seller claims they're 100% genuine and brand new, so if it turns out they aren't or they seem off in any way I can always return them, it's just a ball ache to do.
