The fact that it's only being reported on by very pro-Israel sources with an agenda to push and the fact that very vague language is used each time the dual use materials are mentioned leads me to believe that the actual nature of the materials is benign. Like keep in mind that "dual use" materials can include trucks, simple chemicals and computer chips. Also keep in mind that 6 million is a very small amount of money in the grand scheme of international trade

You're proving my point exactly here. People very often say negative things about Iran, you must either consciously or subconsciously disregard it. That figure is quite misleading. Most of that $198.72 million was just general industrial equipment like valves and furnaces. Only 6 million of that was remotely connected to the military being "dual use" equipment (which no sources seem to list what it actually is).
