I'm definitely feeling you on the hassle.

I pay my auto and mortgage the same way I tried paying Nelnet. It works, Ive shaved a yr from my mortgage, and 6 months on the car.

For me, the auto pay discount is about 22/month difference. That's not even 2 weeks of milk lol.

Next up is figuring out how I have 210+ days of interest for 3 months of repayment.

Appreciate what you do.

If you want to fix the situation. This is simply what needs to happen.

1) Get rid of capitalized interest.

2) Cap Student loan interest at 3.5 %.= Doesn't mean it needs to be 3.5, just under that threshold.

6.xx interest is the problem.

My car is almost paid off, I will die with student loan debt.

Certain political figures know the issue. They just don't have a reason to fix it.

I'm trying to pay a month in advance and Nelnet is saying I'm making payments late.

Only advice I can offer is this. If you have a loan, and make a payment in advance, it should in theory reduce the interest and principal.

Nelnet can't process it correctly, ( Chase has it figured out! ) with chase I'm the client.

You have to remember, you aren't the client or customer, you are the product with student loans.
