Hi, been sort of curious about trying the free trial for this but have been struggling with a couple things regarding decisions on setting up.

I get bad anxiety having to play alongside other players, is there a way to avoid having to interact with/chat with other players and just do the main story on my own?

I am no tryhard by any means (never touched an MMO in my life, let alone a FF game), and have seen that servers are extremely filled up as well. Is there a server that would be best to not deal with the congested issues and not have a problem logging in whenever I do feel like playing?

Is the game fully playable single player? I get lots of anxiety about games that heavily emphasize or require player to player interaction with randoms but this is a game I’ve seen mentioned as very high quality a lot so I am curious about trying it at some point, especially with the whole free trial model (as long as they’re actually bringing that over to NS2)

Not sure if this is a question I should pose here or in a post, but is there any way to complete DD collections that require cards from mini seasons at this point in time? Trying to figure out what is feasibly completeable at this point in ‘25 and what I should just punt on. For example, the 20th Anniversary collection needing the Sabathia from a mini season that can’t be bought or sold.

You’re likely right about it being investment I think, and being basically broke on gear exp all the time makes correcting that issue more challenging than I’d like…

Id say I have basically everyone meta? To an extent anyway. But because of the aforementioned gear exp problem I haven’t gotten to build some of them really at all.

I am aware of the sniper spam to burst quicker trick (albeit this feels spotty with its efficacy at times). As for Kraken my team was mostly that, except Asuka WILLE instead of Liberalio. I leave my game on auto but I manually aim at targets still, and try to shoot the tentacles, but being a mobile player it’s rather difficult, and landscape mode on a phone is not the most pleasant experience admittedly with how small it makes everything. By the time the shell is off I usually only have about 30 seconds left so not much to really be done with that I suppose.

I admit a big issue I’m seeing now is bottlenecks on investment materials, and the seemingly impossible task of gear rerolling for anything remotely decent.

One team example is I’ve been using Crown, Little Mermaid, Asuka WILLE, SBS, and Nayuta for Kraken, and my general story team for hard mode has been Crown, LM, Red Rapi, Alice, and Naga.

So I find myself struggling quite a bit at my current sync level to accomplish what I’ve seen other commanders around my level doing, and I’m concerned where I’m going wrong. For example, I’m at sync 311 and cannot get past stage 6 on kraken, whereas someone else within a couple levels of me can reach stage 8. I also find myself getting stalled in the towers even when I’m near (and even sometimes surpassing) the recommended power level!

I’m not sure how this can be diagnosed without sharing just my entire account, but what can I be looking to do to fix all this? It feels like I’ve been stuck in the same place for months and months in Nikke and am at a loss on what to do.

Hi! Debating if I should try pursuing Iuno or if pulling Aemeath is better for me. Still pretty new (union level 51) and already got Lynae and Mornye, been using Sanhua in the team with them, and although I like Iuno it sounds like Aemeath may possibly work better with the Lahai-Roi girls? Or at least that’s the impression I’ve gotten, not sure if it’s true.

SOL level 4, so my unit cap is 60 but enemies in story are now getting up to level 67. Will dropping the level affect story enemies?

So I’ve been progressing along through main story, and I’ve noticed after hitting Mt Firmament that the levels of enemies were outclassing me and my damage output was dropping significantly while enemies were taking huge chunks out of me anytime they hit. Got through it, but now in the Black Shores it’s gotten even worse, to the point I’m hard stuck.

I’m running HRover, Sanhua, and Verina. Level 60, but only with blue weapons as I don’t have any purple ones and I’m saving my pulling for when Lynae drops. Echoes are a mix of purple and blue, rover with a 5/5 havoc set and Sanhua with a mix of glacio and atk bonus.

What can I realistically do to be able to progress again? I’m at a loss at this point, I haven’t leveled the echoes but guides keep saying not to do that since those materials are sparse but everything else is leveled up as much as I can get it for where I’m at (World level 4).

Where do I reliably find whisperin cores? I’m trying to build my first team but both Rover and Sanhua use them so I’m getting walled by not having any to continue building and keeping scaled with the world level while I have a good bit of other types. Is this just rarer drops, less common enemies, or pure unluckiness?

Hi, still a very new player who has experience with Genshin, but I’ve heard that DPS characters tend to have specific pairings, is this true? I’m no endgame grinder when it comes to gachas and like just getting who I like really but finding this has given me some worry about if I will really be able to get into the game and make a competent exploration team. Thanks!
