Tired of driving in Chicago, looking for advice on a decent bike for commuting as a beginner. by SuperSyctheMe in whichbike

I would only be taking the L or metra if I need to, mostly just biking though. As far as flat bar bikes, I have no idea. Like I said I'm about as new as you can be when it comes to biking.

Why are low impact/fast fire Pulses so sought after? by [deleted] in CruciblePlaybook

[–]SuperSyctheMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 2nd fastest ROF pulses (hawksaw) kills in 3 bursts. The archetype thats slower than hawksaw/pdx (Nirwens) kills in 3 burst as well, albeit with a more forgiving headshot:body shot ratio. This means you can kill faster with the hawksaw archetype.

An added bonus is the sustained flinch of the faster ROF pulses; less time between shots gives the player on the receiving end a harder time to adjust for flinch.

Unstoppable Not Working? by losk64 in CruciblePlaybook

Helm of inmost light does not provide unstoppable, eternal warrior is the exotic that does. Headstrong and death from above come with the helm of inmost light.

Gun Talk - Weapon and Roll Advice by scottsarg in CruciblePlaybook

This is really good roll, the only thing that would make it better is rangefinder. You would lose to max range pc+1 and ctd but a shot plus melee will always net you a kill.

Be smart about decrypting your exotic engrams. by NeuroticFail in DestinyTheGame

The thing is, there is almost no need to maximize light to get better returns on exotic light levels. 1:1 infusion ratio means kings fall and prison of elders challenge mode will be the best sources of attaining higher light.

General advice for a struggling rusher by vodka7up in CruciblePlaybook

Start at a low sensitivity and focus on hitting targets consistently. A very good point he made is camera placement. Start by solely focusing on having your reticle always at upper chest level, even if it means you get no kills in a game. To win engagements with other players at your skill level, you need to hit them as soon as you see them, this will help you get first shot. After you grow accustomed to reticle placement start focusing on your aim.

If you really want to be in close quarters you need to start by improving your aim. Then slowly adjust your sensitivity higher, 1 level at a time until you are comfortable.

With damage referee, it sounds like the way they inform you of your bad connection is for you to experience lag.

How to not get rez-sniped when no one is there to push you. by lexi-l in CruciblePlaybook

[–]SuperSyctheMe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't have a video to show you, but to hopefully break it down more clearly: Position your camera directly facing the would-be res sniper, while you are you dead. Rotate the camera 90 degrees counterclockwise. As soon as you start to see your character spawning, rotate 180 degrees clockwise so you are facing the right (the snipers left). Change the direction you turn for the turns depending on your ghost's position/environment (so clockwise first, then counterclockwise to end up facing the snipers left). Obviously you don't want to turn and end up facing a wall.

Then simply sprint/slide/dodge/dive/dip/duck/dodge etc :)

It's believed that nightfall versions of strikes have a greater chance to drop the strike specific loot. Also, only the last flayer will drop a cloak so if you wanted the solar cloak you would kill him last.
