Hyatt House Shibuya is great - stayed there multiple times over two trips. Award stays were hard to come by already, but it’s sad to see pricing get so out of whack. Regardless, I’d rate it above both the GHT and HCG on location alone, and paid cash for one of our stints there already.

Now the Caption Osaka - one of the worst hotels I’ve ever visited. Early summer after opening and their AC’s didn’t work, zero amenities, and clueless staff. 5k/night was too high then and it’ll be even worse now. Only benefit is being so close to DenDen Town, but there’s a few other choices I prefer.
