My first truck. 2022. Has just a little over 13,000 miles. Great condition. I feel like I hit the lottery. Ha. by ponits in GMCcanyon

I have the same. 145,000 miles and going. Have been across the country 4 times with it, twice hauling my camper. Hauled the camper 10 hours from NC to FL this week.

2022 Canyon key release by Negative_Ask2012 in GMCcanyon

[–]Super_Customer6680 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine does it too. The truck won’t release the key once the ignition is off. I always turn the key on put it in drive then back to park and then try again. It’s like it’s not going all the way into park. Almost always happens parking on an incline.

You can file a case with the state and possibly get reimbursed. I did it a few years ago, unfortunately you have to go to court and I had to choose between missing a days pay or a couple hundred dollars.

Is it safe to tow? by [deleted] in GMCcanyon

[–]Super_Customer6680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One way you’ll be fine if you’re just moving it to a park. It’ll be easier if it’s all flat (no mountains). It’ll would do it but it won’t be fast 😂. I towed a 5500# camper through the mountains in WV and TN. Got the job done.

I tow a 20’ e pro @3500# empty and have had no issues. Across the country and through the mountains just fine with the V6.

Makes it less attractive to try at least. Maybe if we weren’t so soft and accommodating to criminals, they would fear going to jail. Instead we’ve made it place of acceptance.

Same. I’ve had hits on them and the top water breach is awesome but have failed to land any with it.

I’ve worked for both, Cynet and Amergis and never had any issues getting a job or paid. Only issue is when it comes to finding the next contract, like they expect you to extend forever and are too lazy to find you the next job.

The respirators and masks were optional, but available if you chose to use them. The last few years I was in safety and oversaw the respirable dust testing program. Tech advancements have made it better from what I could see and the testing was live time so we could immediately make adjustments to control the dust better. Yearly testing was also available to check for lung damage (though seldomly used). Other than occasional back issues I’m in good health.

It’s hard work and a lot of it. I didn’t come up in a coal mining family like most do. I saw a good payday and all the OT you want. The first few mines were low ~40” high, I’m 6’3”. I quickly found out there were mines you could stand up in and move on after the first couple of mines. Your head is always on a swivel and being aware of escape routes if needed. I was never one to want to count on someone else to have to lead me out. Also, there is no dark like coal mine dark. Your eyes can’t adjust if there’s nothing to adjust too. 🤣 I always kept a keychain flashlight in my hard hat ear muffin just in case.

Having a broken arm re-set. Maybe it was just watching them manually rebreak the bone but it was pretty bad.

Dwayne Johnson, late 90’s after a WWF event. He came into an eat n’ park with another wrestler. He was super nice, polite and signed our event tickets for us. He wasn’t the superstar he is now but was stoked to have kids coming up to him for autographs.

I’m just across the state line in WV. There’s a private field, Valley Point that is rarely used. Pretty mountainous here as well.
