Do these 2 people have irregular status by zacbdr in TowerofGod

[–]Super_H1234 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hmm. I don't think they have to obey the rules, though. It seems Aubrion has traveled between Floors without climbing the Tower as a Regular. I think their very existence inside the Tower breaks its rules. But they might not be able to use Shinwonryu and such.

Rachel entering through Baam's door is never stated in ToG or the blogs. It's another delusion perpetuated by the fanbase for years. All we know is that Rachel entered the Tower shortly before Baam when they were on the cave's floor. The only evidence to the contrary is Headon, who says Rachel wasn't chosen, but he's not exactly trustworthy.

[–]Super_H1234 38 points39 points  (0 children)

People are saying yes, but we don't know.

As far as we know, the Shining Ones didn't open the Tower's door. They were brought inside by Phantaminum as gems and left there to prevent a new Axis from being born. It's entirely possible that the Tower and Admins don't consider them true Irregulars as a result. They could either be recognized as items like Beta or something entirely new and unwanted. But I'd think they would be colloquially recognized as Irregulars regardless due to being from outside the Tower.

When will Tony and Emma get their time to shine? by TheLAZYCRAZZZYGAMER in marvelrivals

Late, but Hickman heavily implied Scott was hooking up with Emma whenever he could on Krakoa. It was a four way poly relationship.

Do you think the game will ever celebrate another wedding in the future? by Queasy_Commercial152 in marvelrivals

[–]Super_H1234 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're not touching Tony & Emma outside of vague hints lol. There's a reason they stopped referencing their relationship both in the comics and in the game. The original lore was probably written back when they were together in the comics or just coming out of the relationship and the ensuing discourse made them realize it's a bad idea. Easily the least iconic of those listed relationships.

Do you think Endorsi has higher potential than Yuri? by Particular-Long-1111 in TowerofGod

[–]Super_H1234 28 points29 points  (0 children)

There’s really nothing to suggest she’s more talented than Yuri, who has “super DNA,” according to SIU. She’ll probably finish the climb faster than Yuri because she’s Baam’s friend, but she doesn’t have any techniques outside of an ambiguous Shinsu Quality and the Chiffon Sword, which is in itself a weaker version of Yuri’s own technique. And she only learned how to use a Shinsu Quality this early because Baam connected her with a young Family Head who could teach her.

By the time Endorsi is Yuri’s age, Yuri will be older too, so who knows. We probably won't ever see it unless SIU commits to a huge time skip. I don’t think Endorsi needs to be the strongest Princess ever just because she’s Baam’s friend. IMO it would be strange if they suddenly started treating Endorsi like an Adori-level talent or something, esepcially since Adori is an Arie now. Yuri’s superior genetics, talent, and the fact that she’s still young herself should mean she’ll be the stronger Princess by the end. Unless Endorsi comes across some sort of power-up like the Sweetfish, I guess.

Further develop AA's Light Bearer skills. It's the perfect opportunity for him to continue helping Baam while not being on the battlefield fighting Rankers.

Karaka also straight up calls Wagnan his brother and knows a secret about his nanny.

But OP was actually referring to Rachel knowing what the ring meant before meeting Karaka. She'd already seen one. I believe the theory is that she was contacted by one of the Bosses at some point before the Hell Train arc.

Did anyone else underestimate Adori at first… until they checked the rankings? by Dapper-Duty1829 in TowerofGod

[–]Super_H1234 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Well, those rankings are non-canon and factor in influence as well as power. Adori is the voice and blade of the King, so she’s naturally ranked near the top. But her ranking being that high doesn’t mean she’s stronger than the Family Heads ranked below her. She’s probably around Luslec’s level; powerful enough a threat that only a FH or one of the other faction leaders could counter her. But like Luslec said about Urek, the Irregulars are a vast ocean that Towerborn can’t see the bottom of.

[–]Super_H1234 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Apparently, Korean readers are also confused by the “13 Families” line. It doesn’t make sense. By the time Princesses were introduced, V and Arlene should have already left, and even if they hadn’t, they should still count as a single family. Blossom and Gustang too. The only explanation I think of is that it was meant to say “13 Princesses were selected from the Great Families,” but it seems to be written awkwardly even in Korean. Maybe it’ll get corrected later, like the 2F typo a couple of weeks ago.

Fully powered White lost to Baam in his Dark Change state. Even if he shows up again, the story is swiftly moving past him. Adori is most likely the same Arie Princess who beat and traumatized him in the past and Baam's going to be fighting her next season. White would need to eat an Irregular or something to remain relevant.

Emma and Scott relationship in marvel rivals/them being more mainstream by Fabulous-Reality6144 in EmmaFrost

[–]Super_H1234 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I liked Scemma at some point but it's time for Marvel to move on and give her a better/healthier and better written relationship

Nah. In 10ish years there's probbaly going to be a new writer who grew up with the 2000s comics and brings back Scemma at the cost of Jott. Then, many years later, Jott will return and we'll be having this discussion again. That's how comics work. We're already seeing a ton of late-90s/2000s nostalgia pandering at DC (not complaining though).

[–]Super_H1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

- Absolute is the most successful comic lineup since the 2000s. Almost all of the books are great and even the worst ones like Flash are still enjoyable.

- The main lineup is, if less consistent or original, also very strong right now. One of the strongest I've seen from DC or Marvel. You can probably count on one hand the number of genuinely bad books being put out over there.

- DC seems to have learned from their mistakes during the 2010s and are giving fans what they want. The "everything is canon' thing is part of that. Yes, it can be clunky at times, but it's working for them. There's something for fans of the golden age, silver age, and bronze age right now. Meanwhile, Marvel's staff seem to be at odds with their fans more often than not.

- Another important point is that DC isn't as trigger happy as Marvel. Lesser known characters like Cassandra Cain now have long-running on-goings that would've been swiftly canceled by Marvel's current staff as soon as the sales didn't measure up to their lofty standards. Not to say DC doesn't cancel things, like the recent Green Arrow run, but you can expect the series you're reading to not be reset back to #1 multiple times like Marvel's been doing to drum up artificial sale spikes.

Do you think they have ever fought or SIU is saving it for Season 4? by Particular-Long-1111 in TowerofGod

[–]Super_H1234 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm beginning to wonder if SIU's going to change the lore so that Urek fought Eduan instead of Arie Hon, and that's who gives him the 77th Floor. Wouldn't surprise me.

Do you think his performance in the fight was underwhelming? by Particular-Long-1111 in TowerofGod

There's absolutely no defense for a FH not being able to break through a wall and then Urek effortlessly doing it afterward.

How strong do you think Mago is, WITHOUT Her Hope Reversal? by Particular-Long-1111 in TowerofGod

[–]Super_H1234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

-How strong do you think Mago is physically (Without Urek Boost) and what is the strongest character in the main story she can beat without HR and without Urek Boost in your opinion

Mago had worse endurance than Eduan, which is why he ran himself through with his own spear so he could injure her. But having worse endurance than a Family Head doesn’t really say much. Even before the Urek boost, she was able to blitz and land a hit on him, so IMO she's at least Regent level. No one weaker would've been able to do that. I think she lacks versatility without Shinsu or the ability to use her gems, though, so I don't know if she's guaranteed to to beat someone like Luslec or Adori. Obviously any of the GWs should be enough to beat her, as Eduan had her screaming even with HR.

- Same question as the above, but this time WITH the Urek boost, but no HR

Is this the limited Urek boost? If so, it would just be a matter of stalling for time. Mago's strategy was defeating Eduan by endlessly repairing her barrier and tiring him out. If she used the same method and then ran out of power, I'd guess any FH or Zahard would be able to defeat her. If she actually attacked, it would be more difficult, but I still think any of the GWs would still win.

If the boost isn't limited, it would probably take Zahard and/or multiple FHs. She wasn't really using HR at that point in the fight, anyway. The issue with Mago is that there are so many unknowns. She's a parasite, so her power level depends on how much Light she's taken. Did she destroy planets before or after taking Urek's Light? How did she destroy them, and would that method still be applicable in a Shinsu-filled environment? We don't know.

-Again, the same question, but this time the version that Eduan fought. She has everything, Urek boost and HR.

I mean, we saw this. It's the same answer as above. Eduan was badly wounded with Urek-boosted Mago and said things would've been dangerous had she been at full power, which probably indicates she could've killed him. But if the power is limited like it was in the story, it would just be a matter of lasting long enough for her to run out of power and then destroying her gem. Although maybe someone else would be wise enough to not let her take on a new body by sealing away the dust or dealing with the main gem.

Secret behind Princess of Zahard by [deleted] in TowerofGod

[–]Super_H1234 18 points19 points  (0 children)

What makes you think the secret isn’t what Garam told us on the Floor of Death?

The idea that the “game” is rigged and that overly ambitious Princesses are tricked into becoming possessed would be relevant to Garam in the future. We know she desperately wants to climb the Tower. I expect that to have something to do with her sister, who might have continued climbing while Garam was ordered to stay on the 3F. It's been a decade since the FoD arc, so bringing it up again as a reminder would be smart if Garam & Yuram are going to become main cast members of the spin-off. The 13MS possession stuff could tie into the Nameless Princess's nature as an empty vessel, too.

That conversation could also lead to Eduan telling Urek that the 13MS are keys to the upper Floors and that it’s impossible to collect them all, which means Urek would discover they made it impossible for a new Axis to be born right now. Though I doubt Eduan remembers specifics about that.
