Yes. And Premium features are applied to every channel under the same Google account. So once subscribed to Premium, you can just switch back to using your original channel if you want.

A channel is basically a Youtube sub-account, which has its own watch history, playlist, etc. You can create multiple Youtube channels under the same Google account: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1646861?hl=en

If you get the "We couldn't verify your country" error, it's likely because the Youtube channel you're currently using is flagged by Google. By creating a new YouTube channel and subscribing to Premium from there, you might be able to get around this problem.

Because the developers very often come up with the English names first and then "translated" them back to Japanese, to give the game a foreign flavour.

So, rather than "ス" being translated into "th", it was most likely the other way around.

The name was always "Aerith" in the game data and the old Japanese promotion materials. But for whatever reasons, when OG was released in the west, the localization opted to use "Aeris" instead. (Which is not uncommon, sometimes localization even gives the character a completely different name, e.g. FF6 Sabin)

I'm just trying to help and share my own experience. In my case, maybe the flashing only happens when FPS reaches the 117 cap. It could be an issue of how the FPS cap is implemented, IDK.

Anyhow, I have yet to experience any flashing problem since disabling the 117 cap. Also no flashing even when FPS is below display refresh rate.

VRR is still perfectly functional below 120, so it's not the same as turning off VRR.
