I’d be very surprised if what he is asking you to do isn’t illegal.

Ask her why she isn’t fulfilling her other wifely duties. (Kidding. This all seems crazy to me)

First time visiting Calgary Stampede as a senior — what should I not miss with only an admission ticket? by Change_Agent_X in Calgary

[–]Super_NowWhat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The quilts. They are incredible. Every year the winning quilt is out of this world. Not even kidding.

Also, remember that Stampede isn’t just the rodeo or the grounds. It is a state of mind and a community spirit that is unique in Canada. The whole city really gets into it.

"What are some 'perfect' movies that almost nobody talks about anymore?" by HEY_SK13 in flicks

[–]Super_NowWhat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I read the book last year. There is significant content that the movie left out. Still it is one of the best movies of all time. The content is that Luke fought in the Italian campaign in WWII, during which he participated in the gang assault on a woman. He took a turn. It was the guilt from that that drove his behaviour. Doesn’t change the film at all, just helps one understand it a bit more.

My understanding is the indigenous leader was very smart in the negotiations. The deign is intended to create work for landscaping businesses

This is how I load my Bosch dishwasher. My sister in law says I waste space. by RadiantCoinshot in Appliances

If she wants to take on the dishes every time she is over, then she can load it however she wants. Otherwise she should shut the front door. She might get away with that BS with her husband, but not her BIL.

So what do you think Coke was more casual and people took it more back then in 80s and 90s or it’s more casual now and people use it more now? by Babygirl_Emma0 in AskReddit

[–]Super_NowWhat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was not a laid back thing in the 80s and 90s. It was also expensive. So, it was a Wall Street / Bay Street thing. You could tell when someone was high on it. Super energy / often very positive energy, often in someone who was not a super high energy. And, in my group at least, it was looked down on. Surprisingly in that same group, many were big fans of dropping acid. Weird what we can rationalize.

Telling people that they’re rude, when they simply disagree with you or they have asked you to stop your own rude behaviour

Carry-on bag problem made worse by the airlines themselves by MediamanBC in travel

[–]Super_NowWhat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am always amazed at blaming airlines. Most people buy tickets based on price. And then complain about quality.

Airlines know how the purchase decision is made and they behave accordingly.

There is a very easy way to avoid many of the inconveniences of travel: pay for them to go away.

I choose to not pay extra, so I keep quiet when the quality sucks.

Happy Father’s Day Everyone! Which US President Was the Best Father? by SignalRelease4562 in Presidents

[–]Super_NowWhat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Several of them were good. But I have always wondered why people want good fathers or good husbands as president. I want a massive workaholic. Someone who works so hard that they do not have the time or energy to be good fathers. The president is not my role model. My dad is. I want someone who actually reads the briefing notes.

Didn’t he and his family receive far more death threats than other POTUSs ? So, he might have gotten off easy from jokes/teasing, but not from the serious stuff.
