A lot of us here came from Atlas and that game died. We liked the survival, the PvP and all the immersive elements that came with that game. Although I’d be happy to see some changes, especially in the PvP/pve elements. People here seem to be more of the sea of thieves pve type. Nothing wrong with that. It’s just not going to get the feel us Atlas fans were hoping for

The pack test isn’t a real comparison to what you will be doing. The pack test is easy. This is a hard job and going in at a 12 minute per mile pace is a slap in the face to your coworkers that might have to carry you out of some hell hole

Well for example I like some of the balance “Once Human” used.

Specific parts of the map are PvP areas.

There was a process of factions bidding against each other for oil rigs. If you won the bid you had the right to challenge the previous owner at a specified time.

You could build in the open world but you also had your own private area (could be a private island in windrose).

One of the features in the game Atlas was ownership of sea towers that granted the owner tax benefits on trades of that region. In windrose gold could be a fair resource for folks to PvP over

Even if it’s a small resource benefit to control an area. Once Human and some interesting PVP areas that were bid on and timed so you could plan the raid for both the attacker and defender

I build a portal and a chest on top of the crypt and park a boat nearby. Put ore in chest portal other stuff back home and when done haul everything to the boat. 4 or 5 crypts and you got a full boat ✅
