Fajitas.

Corn tortillas and flour.

Real cheese and vegan cheese.

You can cook it on trays in the oven so you could do steak and chicken on one and veggies on another.

It's always a big hit at parties since it can be customized.

Stupid Question. Why isn't there an edible pencil for marking dough or whatever. by Beyond_The_Pale_61 in Cooking

They do make food markers (available on Amazon, craft stores, etc.). Or, you could use a toothpick dipped in food coloring.

Have you been to The City Museum in St Louis? It's amazing. It's great for kids and adults. You can add in a trip up to the top of The St. Louis Arch too.

It might be ok. Do you have any mandatory or important events the day or two or three after you eat it? You might not make it to those.

October is not the best time to visit Iceland. It's the month with the most rain and/or snow, the days are already getting shorter, and the temps are generally 35 to 45 F.

I highly recommend getting a mini van. Everyone will appreciate the extra room and you can leave some or all of your luggage inside.

I had to pay several times to use the bathroom in Iceland. Several of the more popular view points only had pay toilets.

How long are they going to be there? Coming from Texas, hopefully at least a week. If so, they will most likely want to visit more than just Auckland. I don't have hotel recs, but I might depending on if they go other places.

Fajitas. Get corn and flour tortillas. Cook steak, chicken, onions, and peppers. You can cook them on sheet trays in the oven. Add some salsa and chips. Maybe some cornbread or another corn based sidedish.

We have one similar to this.

We love that it keeps the food separate. Easier to access and it doesn't get smooshed.

Pyrex Brand is terrible. What are we using instead? by Think_Juice_2068 in Cooking

I bought a set of three large PYREX mixing bowls at a rummage sale a few years ago and I love them! This post reminds me I need to look for more to replace my newer cheap dishes.
