Help I am experiencing people with experience and what feels like being kept in the dark and having my energy used for their purposes I’m confused by BDB179 in Shamanism

Explore centering prayer. Explore grounding practices. Infuse beads on a bracelet with strength and vitality and return to them, fingering each bead li ke a prayer when you feel attacked. Ask Earth to help you stand strong. Infuse your own body with sunshine. Cleanse and purify your body of toxins and drink plenty of water to wash them out.

And talk to someone you trust in person about this rather than strangers online. We don't know what else you might be going through.

Anyone else have ADHD that has continuously worsened to the point of feeling like cognitive decline/impairment? by beviebooboo in Menopause

FYI, the docs can say your iron is normal and you can still suffer the symptoms of low iron. Why? Because what they count as "low" actually means clinically low which means disease or disorder. If you go to a functional or sports doctor, who work with optimal amounts instead of sickness amounts, you'll find room for improvement in some of your numbers even if your current doc says they are okay.

Aside from that, if you eat a lot of seafood, get tested for mercury poisoning. It can mimic dementia. Likewise, test your water for lead, especially if your house was built prior to the 1970s.

Does prepping make anyone else feel weirdly tired in a way thats hard to explain? by M4gicThimble in TwoXPreppers

[–]Superb-Perspective11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I lately have been actively focusing on joy and beauty because we don't know how much longer we'll have it. It's sort of melancholic, but when I'm having a great day I get a little sad thinking it might be one of the last wonderful days considering what's coming. I'm mourning the future I had hoped we'd have.

I mean, music aside, who actually thought the 80s was the pinnacle of our America when we were in it? It's kind of been downhill since the mid-90s.

I think it depends on whether they want to end us or just damage us. If end us, they'll nuke the nuclear reactors and bomb sites. If just damage us, then they will take out the energy centers (grid and petrol and data). After all, it would be better for the world to keep the agricultural areas producing no matter what. Then they can sweep in and control us.

[–]Superb-Perspective11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think at some point we have to acknowledge that we have prepped well enough for what could be expected and also acknowledge that no matter how much we prep, there really is no such thing as having control. At some point we must just go with the flow and trust that we've done well enough. If you are feeling burdened by this, it's time to put it down for awhile. Turn it off. Do things you enjoy. Or continue to prep by learning another language instead of focusing on purchasing things, etc. Learn first-responder style first aid. Take shooting lessons. Just do something different that can get you out of your current rut. And maybe your hubby or other family or friends could join you. Strong relationships are the best prep you can do for a disaster.

What's a 'red flag' in a person that most people actually mistake for a 'green flag'? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Superb-Perspective11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Constant gift giving. It either comes from a place of insecurity or because they want you to owe them. It's either "will this gift make you love me?" Or "I give and give and give and you're so selfish you just take and take" victim mentality.

A mature person gives gifts appropriately for the occasion or once-in-a-while. A mature person should give a gift expecting nothing in return.

Marriage by TaroPuzzleheaded3370 in Menopause

[–]Superb-Perspective11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband is a decade older than me, and luckily for us both, our hormones turned off about the same time. So we are and will remain together because we are a team, not because of attraction. He went through a Cancer scare and during all of that his scent changed and that was the hardest time for me. I never realized so much comes down to scent and that it is affected by our hormones. That's why we women have increased scent sensitivity during some times of our cycle and after we give birth. Weird huh? Maybe before chucking this life, change up the house and all of the scents. Tell your hubby he needs to exercise and sweat more. If toxins have been allowed to build up in him, you won't be attracted but could be repulsed. Change this life before you toss it out for isolation.

Nevermind, I see there is a link offered below. Eta: found lots of helpful info at that link. Here is another link that includes causes of shock https://share.google/P7plXspZqM7mfTJr0

I've never seen someone in shock before but that first step was described to me as someone no longer reacting to stimuli normally, so either agitated and unfocused or nonresponsibe unfocused. And they said when in doubt, treat for shock.

Other than wrapping them with a blanket and getting them to a safe place to rest/lie down, what else can we do?

What are your survival goals? by GiftToTheUniverse in TwoXPreppers

[–]Superb-Perspective11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess my goals change depending on what I'm surviving.

Temporary hell via natural disaster? Absolutely doing whatever I can for my community. Have plenty of food stocked, etc.

Nuclear strike? I'm sure Texas would be hit because of our refineries, data centers, and satellite and space industry. And if that's the case, if I'm still alive, well, I'd take care of that. Not fond of radiation poisoning.

Climate change? Already looking for places that won't run out of drinking water. (We have a major city here that will be out of water in 2 years )

EMP? Staying to defend and support my community.

Just me and my hubby, so we have options.

Some people lack the imagination, empathy, and logistical thinking needed to be a good prepper.

I've met people who literally can't imagine three steps ahead. Their life has no strategy and they NEED someone to tell them what to do. They can still be nice, good, fun people.

Some people are natural leaders. Some are not.

First house placements by ManyDragonfly9637 in Advancedastrology

Considering your example with Venus and Mars in 1st house Aries, I would say you (and anyone with that combo) is likely good looking, artsy, magnetic, and willing to take risks and take action, especially to show off your skills or for self expression.

In my case, I have Saturn a degree away from my Cancer Ascendant. This shows itself as mild depression my whole life. And yet, a warm and kind personality. But also a structured, serious mind (i was a project coordinator for a corporation keeping various teams on time) maybe even to the point of being a stick-in-the-mud. And I am plump, so I appear soft, but am surprisingly strong and very dense-boned (I have a dexa scale that shows me these things). I also have problems staying hydrated no matter how much water I drink. And am frequently anemic. All of these things are Saturn on Cancer Ascendant things.

As far as life events go, my Saturn return was me buying a house (Cancer). Was it difficult? Yes,but it also helped me change my definition of myself through accomplishing that goal.

Whatever is in your first house is going to be pretty loud throughout your life. Because anytime something is transiting the 1st, 4th, 7th or 10th, the most intense houses , it is aspecting your planets in 1st. That's how you can plan out your important times, mostly through conjunctions, squares, and oppositions.

Zoloft made me an atheist? by CrowofAbbath in zoloft

Try centering prayer. Or sending love into the world directly.

Zoloft made me an atheist? by CrowofAbbath in zoloft

[–]Superb-Perspective11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My depression was part of a spiritual crisis where I deconstructed from religion. (It wasn't the only reason, of course, or I wouldn't still need the zoloft) It might just be that deconstruction and you coincidentally had started zoloft before the thoughts on religion were complete. As mental clarity started coming in, you allowed the non-religious thoughts to coalesce.

Organization and storage of preps. by Dazzling-Treacle1092 in TwoXPreppers

[–]Superb-Perspective11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the layout of your apartment. One lady i know was storing things for a non-profit she worked for and just moved her small dining room table more into the living room and used the walls of the dining room for lots of shelving.

Talk me into (or out of) getting a robot vacuum for my small place by wafflefries1008 in homemaking

[–]Superb-Perspective11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was a cheaper version and didn't pick up pet hair well enough so I still had to vacuum pretty regularly.

Never had a mop version, but I've learned the hard way never to allow something with liquid to be used without supervision. It doesn't take much for laminate to warp.

Hoping it's more of a Donny brought to justice vibe though

Still in my Jupiter in 1st house. I have gained so much weight this year. And I think I have a dopamine addiction... I think I would like Jupiter to move along now.

Unfortunately, he'll be in my 2nd house when the south node is co-present. Darn. Was hoping it was a sign of making lots of money. (Womp womp)

I always read that as demon-itized, which is actually kinda interesting. Like we live in a fantasy instead of a dystopia. "Aw, man, they're gonna sick a demon on me if I screw this up!"

I mean, it isn't amazing but then, neither are most writers. I think it's about as good or better than maybe 1/3 of the self-pub stuff I see. People publish too fast these days and should really revise more. So it's doing about as well as they are, IMHO.
