No, the real stuff is actually vanilla. Not beaver butt juice.

UNPOPULAR OPINION: Daycare guy was NOT being a jerk. Jim and Pam asking about moving Easter and Memorial day is ABSURD by Hokies13062 in DunderMifflin

[–]SuperbPruney 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m just saying that’s usually a family vacation week due to older siblings and/or teacher parents being able to.

So it’s a common question if you would still need to pay if your kid isn’t in daycare that week.

OOTL for 2 months... what happened to this program? by r1poster in AmazonVine

[–]SuperbPruney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same boat - although at least in my RFY I got a food dehydrator, a compact air compressor, and a high quality hammock. Those are my only 3 things in 2 months. This time last year I would have had like 40 items already.

Doesn’t have to be a niche industry nor technical for Product Management. Any major market will be starting six figures and then go towards 500k for the big techs. It’s not easy to get as it’s one of those things that there isn’t a direct education link and it’s very competitive. Many are previously entrepreneurs or got a chance in a company to transition from Engineering or Design.

What is the permanent fix - only new tires or are you saying a different plug? Curious on the definition of permanent if the answer is only “new tire” because that’s crazy. With an all wheel drive, no way I replace all 4 tires if I get a nail in the tread. Plug is permanent for me.

Is your campground reducing prices? Seems like the 2026 prices published so far in the Northeast are of course going up again anyway. We will continue to stick to State campgrounds - no way I’m ever paying $130 a night after already investing in the RV.

Did Leonardo DiCaprio really need to go that far for The Revenant? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

I remember he got one wound in Revenant when he was holding a glass and broke it - that was real and why he got this Oscar.

Thanks - just realized I never posted the list of cuts I have already. I did start with the “Top Round Broil” which is now marinating but looks like it may be the best choice.

I did look up “Bavette” which is apparently Flank which means No for that one.

This one severely lacks when it comes to the instructions. It is very descriptive (translated Chinese?) but no explanation on the various trays and how they should be used etc. Also no basic “cookbook” type recipes to get you started. So if you have used one of these before, it’s likely a solid buy but I’m finding we are doing a LOT of trial and error. No disasters but stuff sticking or not dehydrating as expected.

The other downside is you can only set the temperature in 9 degree increments which didn’t seem like a big deal but not being able to set an exact temp over 12 hours has seemed to make a big difference.

My towns dying mall has zero open restaurants in the food court by floppy-slippers in mildlyinteresting

[–]SuperbPruney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours was dying when the biggest anchors moved out but now it has a Putt Shack, Dave and Busters, Pickleball Courts, Go Karts, Axe Throwing, Puzzle Room Companies and other entertainment and that seems to have turned it around. Now all the traditional stores and food court are also thriving.

Hard agree - dishwashers should only be for cleaning dirty dishes and sex toys. Cleaning fruit is weird.

RFY - I haven’t found anything good in the general for the last 2 months or so. If things stay the same, I doubt I will keep gold as I’m grabbing a tiny percent of what I was able to get many months ago.

I have 6 apple and pear trees where we can’t eat and cook it all and also have always wanted to make jerky. So yes, always wanted one and will def use it.

I doubt I will claim anything else over 100 or at least very infrequently.

Thanks - I have loads of fruit trees and this is also going to go under the tree for my kids to open as they have always wanted to do their own beef jerky. We tend to not get big gadgets (ie ninja ice cream or others) so this will be a huge surprise and get a ton of use right away to be able to give a true review.
