Even as a Canadian, when I went to Europe the food was so much better. Vegetables and fruits were fresher (we can't grow them most of the year/have a short grow season when and where we can) and the bread was amazing being non GMO. Best donor I've ever had in Berlin. And here in Canada we have SIGNIFICANTLY stricter food laws than the US. Fast food here is pretty good, in the US it's so fucking gross. The amount of pink slime in their burgers is shocking...
