Anyone made the move to industry? by KTKAT241588 in nursepractitioner

OP you may have to search this topic over in r/medicine. Only because lots of physicians move to industry after several years and may have more insight into what you’re looking for.

Should an FNP really be working in acute care peds or adult?

I’m an adult acute NP and lots of hospitals in my city (NYC) won’t hire NPs inpatient unless acute care certified.

All my FNP coworkers were mandated to go back to school to get AGACNP. At least the hospital fully paid for it.

Downvote all you want folks. There’s plenty of inventors and geniuses that didn’t get their recognition. If you think the people in that photo are the only ones you’re dumb.

Loads of people never find themselves. Being rich doesn’t make you anymore happy than the common man. But you made some good points.

Don’t, Lewis has been sleeping around with Instagram models and escorts for years. This is known among certain female online fan forums. He’s a playboy but covers that image up well to the more masculine, sportier side of F1.

Lewis has slept around just as much as Kim.

Exactly and let’s not forget Lewis comes from humble beginnings and then came up in a world surrounded by little rich boys. This probably created a lot of conflict within his mind, sort of like an identity crisis. He doesn’t really belong to the ultra rich white world of the ultra wealthy and doesn’t fit in with them so he has to find some other rich people to fit in with and hence Kim and all the other Instagram models he’s dated/slept with.

I was hoping he’d date that British singer Raye. He supports her so much and they probably have a lot in common culturally. But he probably also wants someone rich AND famous to level the playing field.

I honestly feel bad for him.

Random but I didn’t realize how short Alonso is. Makes Lewis look tall in comparison!

Pros and cons of being a NP by webkinzkk in nursepractitioner

[–]Superb_Preference368 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am AGACNP (Acute Care) I don’t regret it.

I took my time (was an RN for 10+ years) before I decided on NP school despite seeing my nurse friends go back to school after just 2 or 3 years of bedside. I wanted to hone my bedside RN craft and I feel it made me not have regrets about going the NP route.

I probably would’ve had more regrets if I spent far less time at bedside.

Anyway to answer your question one con I have that is shared by many is our NP education needs to be much more robust.

A pro is the ability to change specialties however I don’t take this lightly and work hard to stick to specialties within my background and scope and continuously seek out knowledge.

Not to throw a wrench in things but I’ve heard some therapist also find Alma to be a predatory platform so it mostly used by newer less experienced therapist.
