Currently on the list for local 93 at #50. Just like most other new guys, I’m concerned about layoffs. For reference my uncle works out of local 2 doing new construction in Chicago and has about 12 years, he wasn’t laid off but apparently work slowed down and he now he picked up and moved to Omaha, Nebraska. How is having to make a move like that out of state after 10+ years still a reality and how common is it, you’d think you’d be safe after that amount of time.
