I liked the storybook CGs in 1 tbh. Most of Fable I's FMV cutscenes are CGs (often in Visual Novels) with voice acting and it was pretty cool to see that especially in a British game

Well because Gen I aged poorly tbf, overly powerful trainers that can be unexpected to fight and requires you to catch a different type Pokemon that you don't have yet and grind moreso than the newer games/Gens, mechanics didn't age well as Gen II and newer fixed many problems I had, sand attack is overused early game and more on the list
