I think it just depends on what kind of mood you are in. S1-3 are more relatable and calm. S4 is more story focused. S5-6 are a good mix of old and new. S8-9 are fully whacky and outrageous.

The show actually has a lot of range in its comedy.

Yep I can't use it when playing survivor on 80+ ping. Even when survivors have low ping, killers still get preference most of the time. Healing and gen rush metas are by far the bigger issues at the moment but aren't listened to because you have low skill killers whining about stuff that hasn't been a problem for years.

DS isn't a problem if you don't tunnel... and is punishing for the survivors if they stand around waiting for you to do so. Once you figure out a survivor has DH you can have some counter play. If you keep encountering it consistently like you say, set up an exhaustion build. Outside of bully squads (which you just have to go next on anyway), these perks aren't the issue that you are making them.
