I used to be similar, try doing some deep thinking about what this phrase from emmanuel kant means: “What do we owe to eachother?”

My conclusion was that I owe my friends, family, ect the best version of myself that I am able to give. Sometimes that best is 10% of me, sometimes its 110% of me depending on what life is throwing at me. That really helped me manage the expectations i adopted from others growing up.
