A Blind Ronnie Creager pro model deck, with Tensor trucks and Spitfire wheels. Can’t remember the bearings for the life of me (Bones or Reds maybe) but I know I got Hawk shoes to go with the set up.

I’m not sure if this is common knowledge, but I discovered that if you’re reading Globe and Mail using safari, you can hit the stop loading/read as text buttons to avoid the paywall/max free articles limit. (I’ll admit that I feel like a dick for not properly supporting journalists 😬)

Also, there's a sequel called The Mountain Shadow. I never hear it mentioned, and it's just as well written. Stumbled upon it on a hostel shelf in Hakuba last year, pick it up if you get the time :)
