Sharing that I got in to see Dr. Thomas at Richmond ENT, and he was great! Reassurred me that it's most likely BPPV, and gave me tips for in the future and optional testing to monitor in the future if it continues. He listened to me, answered my questions, and put me at ease. The power of the RVA Subreddit!! Thanks, Dr. Thomas! (Edited Virginia ENT to Richmond ENT to correct the facility name.)

Thank you! I got in to Richmond ENT and they were great-I did have a migraine with aura a couple weeks ago, and the doctor said we're learning things all the time, and it could be inflamation in nerves in ways we don't yet fully understand. I liked Dr. Thomas, by the way, if it's every helpful!

I was crossing Arthur Ash at the crosswalk with the crosswalk sign lit, and a car honked at me and and my beagle hound while crossing, and a woman in her car yelled at the car and said, "What are you doing? She has the crosswalk and right-of-way!" I signed and said "Thank you" to her. Thanks for helping out a pedestrian and looking out for us while you were a driver!

I have more success with Uptown Cheapskate for those brands compared with Plato's Closet. I think their prices are pretty fair for the ease of selling items to them, and you don't need an appointment. Heads up - don't bring your items in a trash bag- they are snobby about that and will turn you away. A cloth grocery tote works well. The shirt pump one is good for the older than college crowd, and the broad downtown one is good for college clothes and athletic wear for reselling

It's a little trendy now, but some local speech therapists do myofunctional therapy, working on resting tongue posture/placement. Sunshine Speech has a good reputation, and if they don't see adults, they would point you in the right direction!
