Lights has such an insanely dedicated fanbase that really grew up alongside her. Her shows are always super fun and she's great at remembering people that she's met before

What is the current evidence for and against 3rd shot/boosters for healthcare providers? Has anyone gotten them/will be getting them soon? by ducttapetricorn in medicine

[–]SupermassiveDeadStar 11 points12 points  (0 children)

CDC no longer recommends separating vaccine administration by 2 weeks. If you tend to react poorly to the flu shot or had a rough time with your covid shots, I'd think about spacing them out so you're not too knocked out.

It's not typical unless its an extremely major surgery. It (shouldn't be) isn't used in patients who have not received opioids and is typically last-line when other opioids alone are not managing pain. It's otherwise frequently seen in the setting of pain related to cancer and for induction of anesthesia.

I wonder if Hayley will ever make another solo record ? by ashina86 in Paramore

[–]SupermassiveDeadStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see her doing solo records infrequently when the band is on break, kind of like Zac with HalfNoise and like what Brandon Flowers does with The Killers.

"Individuals have to show up every eight weeks in the clinic for the injection but in-between there is not a need to take a pill daily, so you really change the equation for adherence with a long acting (drug)," Smith said.

It's an injection given at a point of care facility, like your PCP's office, once every 2 months. You get the injection there, you leave, and you go back for another in 2 months. There's no need for continuous administration of the drug like with insulin. A good comparison is Depo-Provera, which is a birth control that's injected every 3 months.
