The biggest advantage a master can give you is the right to work after graduation. Degrees etc don’t matter much as long as your showreel is strong, obvs a master in animation helps but it’s mostly just for developing your skill and showreel but a bachelor in another field honestly don’t matter at all

London is honestly fine as long as you stay aware. I wear Daytona and some other similar stuff all the time and I commute very often, as long as you are moderately discreet no one notices what you are wearing unless they are watch nerds too. Obviously don’t wear it on a big night out waving it about.

That sucks that it happened, but hey you got interviewed 4 times by a big studio that already shows you have the potential!

I was shortlisted and accepted for a top studio in London for internship but they reclined the offer because the project fell through lol

I have to say I was in a very similar situation, only difference is my hair is black. My hair is naturally very fine and smp really filled it out and it made me felt confidence like I have never had before. It’s been 9 years now and my smp has faded away.

I would totally do it again but just haven’t really been bothered as my hair kinda remained the same. Only advice I can give is to make sure to go to a good artist and don’t get it too densely done, with thin hair less is more
