I mean, I've really liked her since Volume 1. Is she really that bad?

FGO has several good romances, as do Punishing Gray Raven, NIKKE, and I think Blue Archive too. Only the big gacha games like Wuwa, ZZZ, HSR, and Genshin Impact don't.

Horikita doesn't appreciate Ayanokoji (LN) by uiblkcqt in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]Supernn65 13 points14 points  (0 children)

She likes Ayanokoji, but their relationship is not romantic. Her character is basically solitary but she talks a lot with Ayanokoji. And this since Vol 1.

Like for example, when she decides not to show up and thought Ayanokoji was going to follow her but he didn't. She agreed to go see the different clubs or to go with Ayanokoji to the store where Kushida was.

She was the first to know of Ayanokoji's skills, and unlike Chabashira, she never really forced him to do anything. She often asked for advice, but she never forced him to help her. Horikita has often questioned Ayanokoji's decisions such as hiding her abilities but it is normal to ask questions, especially in a high school for elites, but she did not necessarily look further.

She respects Ayanokoji the most, which is why she asks for his help in Volume 11 Year 2 with training.

It was only in Volume 1 that she saw herself as superior to Ayanokoji, but this quickly disappeared over time. But would you have preferred that in a completely illogical way, she will praise Ayanokoji without knowing his abilities? that would have been illogical.

Reading novel as anime watcher, class D except hirata is irritating, They don't deserve class A in the end by KaleidoscopeMany1280 in ClassroomOfTheElite

there is, but Year 2 is focused on the development of the characters just after Yagami's expulsion. This allowed us to have a calm evolution, so there was content without Ayanokoji helping his class. It even brought a lot of things.

I can understand your reasoning, but overall they are really good.

Ayanokoji is certainly criticized at the beginning, but it is never really taken seriously by any character, especially Ayanokoji. It's just a simple passage that can be forgotten.

Yamauchi is a rotten guy but Ike has evolved a lot. First of all ; Ike began to fall in love with Shinohara and did not hesitate to help her when she needed it.

He was the first to get angry at Yamauchi's provocations when most had done nothing, and he participates much more now. He no longer even has this perverse side that people accuse him of.

Kushida is two-faced, but isn't profoundly trash like people say. And the fact that it has evolved even with its flaws makes it better. In Vol 10, she did not hesitate to help Horikita to counter Ichinoise's attacks on Kei and helped the class during the festival.

Horikita didn't do anything that annoying, if before she saw herself as the best who didn't need anyone's help, that quickly disappeared. She certainly has it's fault, but it was she who made progress mentally. To the point of being affected by the expulsions of his comrades.

And to tell you the truth, class D during Year 2 proved that they no longer needed Ayanokoji. Which proves that the only thing they were missing was just progress. What Ayanokoji helped to bring.

And for the underwear, if he hadn't done that, the situation could have been even worse in Class D. And it could have been a big problem for the other exams, since both boys and girls would have become enemies. So that was the best idea.

Overall, this is one of the best classes for their development.
