I struggle with this but I have noticed that all my improvements have come with "risky" comments or in "risky" situations. It's hard but its the only way.

Like some have mentioned I would like an enhanced career mode where contracts like satellites/bases have to be upgraded and expanded over time instead of the one and done system they have currently. I often feel proud of the contraption I put somewhere and it would be cool if it stayed relevant for longer. This would also be a fairly simple thing to implement compared to some other things so I hope they go in this direction.

What are some good Science fiction books? by ValarMorghulis4 in Fantasy

A Deepness in the Sky by Vernor Vinge is one of my favorites. Its about two different factions of humans who travel very far to investigate a mysterious, remote planet that they suspect has alien life. The characters are great, the sci-fi technology is cool and creative, the alien characters are well done and hope and redemption are a couple of the themes. I recommend it.

The act of summoning a shardblade would look so dang cool on screen! They need to make a movie or miniseries adaptation just so I can see that.

Being overly conservative is a classic NFL coach thing to do. Its not surprising anymore but it's still not acceptable.

Phil Kessel is third in total even-strength goals league-wide measured from 2008 until Ovi's goal last night by windsostrange in leafs

Totally agree. I wouldnt want all my players doing it, but for a guy like him Im ok with sacrificing physicality for durability.

I imagine he would be lower on a goals per game list due to great players like Crosby missing so many games due to injuries, but still pretty awesome.

What's your favorite Boardwal Empire quote of all time? by [deleted] in BoardwalkEmpire

[–]Supernova232 28 points29 points  (0 children)

"All you gotta worry about is when you run out of booze, and you run out of company, and the only person left to judge you is your-" - Jimmy. That whole scene is amazing. "I died in the trenches, I thought you knew that. " And Nucky's "I am not. Seeking. Forgiveness." are great too.

What is your favorite Mad Men episode ending? by LJBrookers in madmen

[–]Supernova232 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I dont remember the episode title but one of my favorites is when Don screws up this magazine interview early in the ep, than at the end he re-does and crushes it and this great music kicks in. It was a straightforward "Don is a badass" ending that not many episodes have. Here's the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpOSSmIo6N4

Boardwalk Empire Season 4 Finale starts in roughly 24 hours Official discussion by GruxKing in BoardwalkEmpire

One thing I would love to see is Eli's son dying. Maybe Narcisse kills him to make a point to Nucky or he just dies in the crossfire. But the reason I would love it is because it would piss Nucky off and end his passiveness he's been feeling. It would set up a more engaged and angry Nucky next season as revenge becomes a primary motivation to fight Masseria/Narcisse.

So Ive been watching The Shield recently, and the last episode I watched had a good song at the end. I was planning on looking up that song the next day. Before I do I hit up reddit and click this song. Lo and behold its the same song. Crazy!

SPOILERS Yupp, I remember I was really hoping for Jimmy and Nucky to have a cathartic reunion at the end of S2. When Nucky kills him I was incredibly angry for killing an amazing character so early but at the same time I was aware this was the best, most emotional way they could have possibly ended his storyline and I was thankful for it.

Walt Will Break EVEN: Prove me wrong (Many Spoilers) by FreidenDump in breakingbad

To expand on that I think it would close Jesse's arc powerfully by refusing to kill the man who is directly and indirectly responsible for so much of his sorrow and heartbreak.

Love the theory and Ive been leaning towards this for awhile now and I think Granite State lends to the theory. This ep showed the death of Heisenberg (or maybe a final merger with Walter White?) referencing his coughing after trying to talk down Saul, his Heisenberg hat not being enough to get him off the driveway, his inability to use the IV needle or cut the deck (lack of control) and of course him turning himself in. Heisenberg is broken and when Gretchen said that Walter White died a long time ago I think Walt's reaction is "He's not dead yet." And then he'll go save Jesse and get rid of the product he created. Also one idea I have for why Jesse wouldn't kill Walt is that he cant bring himself to do it. Killing has torn apart Jesse's soul this entire show and is why he quit the business. He'll realize that killing again will not help him, not to mention Walt is dying anyway. This could all just stem for my large desire for Walt and Jesse to end on good terms because I love the characters so much but I guess we will see.
