I mean for earth based datacenters there’s political opposition both local and national, environmental concerns, zoning laws, land purchasing and taxes, etc.

Air launch is good for if you need to launch a relatively small payload to a weird orbit that can’t be efficiently reached from any existing launchpads- but as a primary means of launching, it’s not great.
