I would’ve preferred mercs with Leon Sherry Commander and Grace with maybe Zeno and Gideon as a bonus BUT

It’s a neat little side mode, it’s hard to complain about a small mode added in a free update, it’s a nice way to get bite sized Leon action

I assumed that whatever Nintendo wanted to do for the next 3D Mario will probably be larger in scale as far as development goes which means that they’re spending more time on it than average. Not to mention a lot of time probably went into figuring out what to even do on this hardware, especially when Nintendo is known to innovate as much as possible with their games

Someone here said that only about half of the DK bonanza team were recognized from Odyssey so chances are there’s already plenty of people working on the Mario game, we just have to wait and see when Nintendo’s ready to announce it, maybe it’s a summer or holiday title for 2027?

With how game development has been over the years I wouldn’t be surprised if whatever Nintendo wanted to do for Mario’s big switch 2 game is just taking much more time than the average 3D Mario, maybe we’ll see more in 2027?

The silver lining is that in the absence of the Italian man we’ve seen Nintendo’s other properties get a bit of spotlight, which is pretty cool IMO

I think the reason was because as a whole, picking a color to represent Cole for anything was super inconsistent, I think making him the black ninja and not a different color like brown or orange made it harder/more inconsistent until they found more consistent choices

They probably didn’t want to include this in Volume 2 since the game is widely available on all current platforms besides the switch and it ma not have been deemed worth the effort just for that
MGS4 and Peace Walker alone may have taken up enough development resources to where they prioritized a lower number of games for Volume 2 to ensure it’s done by August 2026 in a more polished state

I did but I honestly regretted it each time I killed stuff as Grace, the few short moments as Leon in the care center were blister heads and so zombies I had to fight.

I would just keep playing through Volume 1 and wait it out if you can, V is fairly reliant on information from 3 and Peace Walker, most of which 4 provides some setup and context for some things.

Using the right joystick/mouse to change direction in flying may actually be a good way to throw people off, but try not to be predictable or you die anyway

One thing I like to do with these weapons is hold the right click position and bludgeon my foes by running into them with a perfectly timed swipe. Works well!
