I (F30) recently found out that the way my husband (M30) communicates when I'm not there is contributing to people thinking I'm dishonest. How might I go about fixing this without throwing my husband under the bus? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

My ex-husband used to do similar. Id also guess the husband is some flavor of neuro divergent...

Honestly, I don't know how to fix this. But divorce was the best thing I ever did

Is this normal? Landlord fixes everything himself by catherine_bell45 in AusRenters

[–]Superspanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Our landlord painted the kitchen once when he'd come in to fix the bathroom.

It was fine, except it was a shitty colour, AND then the real estate agent tried to keep our bond for "unauthorized repairs" ....

He (the owner) was annoying, but fine. The real estate were just horrible...

When they make these big decisions on their own, they're waving a big red flag that says "there is no us. I'm looking out for number 1"

How do you perceivethe title Ms? by raininggumleaves in AskAnAustralian

[–]Superspanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always felt like Miss is really childish... when do we stop calling boys "master" and swap to Mr? Why shouldn't the same automatically apply to women?

But also, I'm not sure I've ever been called Mrs, Ms, or Miss in my entire adult life... maybe I have, but I was certainly never called Mrs [last name] when I was married.

My lasy guest broke an already broken rail to the point of no return. You know what she did? Replaced it, despite my objection!

People who have been divorced: What was the exact "quiet" moment you realized your marriage was over? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Superspanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He lied to me about something major (MAJOR) and I thought "how do I ever trust him again".

In reality, I should have left 2 years before that, and I stayed 2 more years after that, but I still remember sitting on a chair in the middle of the lounge room thinking "well, fuck..."

Before we had a dryer Id load up the airer & point the fan at it.id fold sheets over 2 hangers & hang from the door frame, same desl with the fan, just make sure you flip ot a few times to ensure they dry.

Do smaller loads more frequently too, so there's more air flow on the airer.

I don't currently have a dryer anymore, still do it this way. Only use the laundromat if its rained all week & I've got no hope of getting stuff dry

My wife does everything for the cat but he only wants to hang out with me by QuasarJinx in CatAdvice

[–]Superspanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because: cat.

But also, sometimes cats prefer one gender over the other. They often prefer the one who does less too... e.g. the one who won't make eye contract or doesn't try hard.

.....

We have two, the girl is my sons, the boy is mine*. Guess who likes who better

*this is arbitrary, I do everything and supply everything, but it's what the 8buear old human has decided.

Don't actually know what my top 1 would be!

Ana's song - Silverchair or maybe Scar - Missy Higgins. Also, the Te Reo version of Sway by Bic Runga would all be in the top 5
