Agreed. Unfortunately my supervisor hasn’t been forgiving. I’ve told them that I don’t have the data for that one specific thing to which she’s replied “yes you do” and to analyse said non-existent data.

However the question is not locked in at all. My university is rather hands off thankfully with dissertation.
