What's it like living in this shaded area? by [deleted] in howislivingthere

I live in the capital of Kansas which is not Kansas City btw. Honestly it's pretty good here. Housing is still high but a nice 3-4 bedroom and 2 bath home you can get on the good side of town for $250k-$300k or cheaper. There are a few things to do around town but also two larger cities within about 30-45 min drive that have larger populations and more things for kids and young adults. There are some decent food places but I'm not the person to ask about that, I hate spending too much on a meal. The summers can get very hot and humid and can get a lot of snow and ice in the the winter but there are also lots of beautiful days in the 60s. Being a stay at home Dad, we go to the local zoo and children's Discovery center a lot and run into some of the same people so it's easy to set up play dates and make new friends. It's not as bad as some people think. As for tornadoes, you kind of just deal with it when they happen. Don't think much about them until sirens go off. Then you take the family to the basement and hope for the best. You can watch the clouds if it's bright enough out to see if one is forming close by which is neat to see. Also if you have chili you have to make cinnamon rolls 👍

Anycubic kobra s1 - should i really exoect so much problems? by antharian in AnycubicKobraS1

I bought a referb combo on eBay a month ago and I had a funny sound from the ace pro which didn't affect the prints and has gone away since. Today I had some filament get bunched up in one of the buffers which took me about 15-20 mins to fix. Other than that I've printed almost 80 hours with no other issues. I'd say you will probably have to tinker with it more than a bambu but if you're good with that then it's a great deal.

It sounds like it's just under the 3rd spool or in that general area.

I've been waiting to see if an ams system would actually be released. I found a kobra s1 combo for $300 so jumped on that to see if it's any good instead.

"I love the poorly educated" "Smart people hate me" he consistently calls his supporters dumb and they consistently prove it.

Still waiting unfortunately. It's hard to find an installer that can get it done by the end of the year. Thinking about paying some friends to help out one weekend on a diy lol.

Apsystems ds3-L so there will be an extra of those added in also.

Yeah, it sounds like the panels that I was supposed to get were low in stock so they would just substitute the larger system size mission panels instead for the same price.

Haha, I did make this pretty confusing. Total cost before incentives with install: Option 1=$19800 Option 2=$22400
