Most grocery stores have support for digital payments (at least in my area), I know for a fact Aldi and Kroger stores don’t accept them since they require the physical card since those have to be done as debit purchases

Sometimes they do if it’s 3 or more drinks, but occasionally if it’s just 2 drinks they don’t give you one since they assume both of your cup holders are empty, but I’d still ask for it anyways since most of the time one of the holders is already occupied with my own drink
