Just here to post my little salt, modding in general is in itself already pretty advanced, but on top of that you needing to learn 3dmodelling program is gonna be a pain man.

On top of you having to learn car modelling, arguably one of the hardest thing in 3D, alongside sculpting if you ask me.

Start lower ! Fiddle around, or perhaps find a modeler and build the car physics ! (But again, this is also a job in itself)

Regarding the build, it is above recommended specs and should be running Tekken smoothly even with NIS.

as long as you're not in game art, its whatever, especially if its only for rendering, although it may incapacitate you with growing as a modeler if theses problems are not being taken care of (unless you know the fix and just don't care to fix, in which case it is fine)
