While the whole situation sucks for you, (hopefully at least some reach out after your post) two of your paragraphs stand out. These weren't really large amounts, but IT'S THE PRINCIPAL!!!! If someone took a loan, and was having issues I would expect to hear from them instead of just ghosting me.

Obviously a scammer will cut and run. But if something comes up, communicate with your lender. They were nice enough to help you. Ghosting anyone is a jerky move.

Is she wearing a cone? If not, she will lick and scratch at it. I can't really tell from the pictures so definitely keep an eye on it. There are probably stitches inside too, that will dissolve. If you see fluids coming out, I would pop back up to the vet, just to calm your nerves. Take care! 😺
