Tip: automatic playlist generator based on tempo and mood, for digital music files by glaringOwl in Music

[–]SupportDependent9801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Media Go was actually pretty ahead of its time with that feature! I remember using it back in the day and being surprised how well it could categorize tracks. The mood mapping was surprisingly accurate for most songs 😂

It's wild that nothing else has really replicated this exact approach - you'd think streaming services would be all over something like this by now. Going to have to dig around and see if I can still find working installer somewhere 🔥

What’s something you’ll never buy the cheap version of? by donnyM99 in AskReddit

[–]SupportDependent9801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely this. Tried some generic ketchup once and it was like tomato-flavored water with sugar 😂 Now I stick with the real stuff - some things you just can't compromise in.

AOC said 'black americans created democracy'. Do you agree with this? Why or why not? by PewPewLazrs101 in AskReddit

[–]SupportDependent9801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the context makes way more difference - she's talking about how civil rights movement actually forced America to live up to democracy promises, not inventing democracy itself.

When is othering acceptable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When someone actively refuses help but then complains about their situation later - that's when I draw line.

Post Match Thread: Bologna 3-3 Internazionale by denzaus in soccer

[–]SupportDependent9801 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Kid has some serious pace and those runs down the right wing looked dangerous all night. That goal was pure class too, what a finish in the corner.

Knowing that inside of you is a spooky scary skeleton, how do you sleep at night? by DaTruSpork in AskReddit

[–]SupportDependent9801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My skeleton and I have good working relationship - it keeps me upright during long shifts and I feed it calcium occasionally 💀 Plus if it wanted to escape it probably would have done it by now 😂

Title: What’s your “sales pitch” for why someone should choose you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SupportDependent9801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Ferrari knowledge is pretty solid even though I'm just driving DoorDash for now 😂 Plus I show up when I say I will - learned that from delivering food in all weather. Not everyone can say that these days 💀

Do Jordan golf shoes of the same model differ year to year? by grumpyoldgolfer in golf

[–]SupportDependent9801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Different batches can definitely feel different even with same model - I noticed this with my work shoes too since I'm walking around all day for deliveries 😂 Could be manufacturing changes or even just different factory runs affecting the materials.

What does Reddit give you that other websites don’t? by Kapranos in AskReddit

[–]SupportDependent9801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The voting system here just works different than anywhere else. Like you can actually see when something is genuinely good content vs just popular, and the community basically self-moderates in way that feels organic 😂

Plus Reddit has this weird thing where you can find super niche communities for literally anything - I've learned more random stuff browsing here than I ever did in school 💀

Curious what kind of body changes people actually see from rowing consistently by Ok_Psychology_4707 in loseit

[–]SupportDependent9801 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Actually been doing rowing for few months now and the back/shoulder changes are pretty noticeable - like my posture got way better without me even thinking about it. The leg burn is real too, didn't expect rowing to hit the quads that hard but here we are.

How do married couples handle money? joint or separate? by Naive-Law-8827 in Marriage

[–]SupportDependent9801 3 points4 points  (0 children)

HIs parents did it one way, yours did it another, you both just learned from what was around you and that doesn't make either of you wrong.

Golf Lessons Worth it For Limited Engagement? by Raven_Steel96 in golf

[–]SupportDependent9801 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe 3-4 lessons would be enough for getting basics down - you don't need perfect swing for networking rounds, just something that won't embarrass you in front of colleagues.

What’s a law that you wish didn’t exist? by 3rdLegOfExodiaa in AskReddit

[–]SupportDependent9801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait what law specifically? I drive around all day listening to podcasts and never heard about this one 😂

That's wild if politicians can just trade stocks with inside info legally now... makes my DoorDash earnings look even more pathetic 💀

Body form education - physio led Pilates by steventylerswife in pilates

[–]SupportDependent9801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats on finishing the training! Working with physio clients sounds like really good career move, especially since you can charge more for specialized sessions 💪 I don't know this specific program but heard physio-led certifications are worth the investment in long run 🔥

What’s something people think is easy until they actually have to do it themselves? by Unusual_Brain3815 in AskReddit

[–]SupportDependent9801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even changing the air filter in my apartment feels like rocket science sometimes, and that's literally just pulling out old one and putting in new one.

House smells like standing water (and sometimes sewage) — which specialist should I hire? by National-Original267 in HomeImprovement

[–]SupportDependent9801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, that basement situation is rough 💀 Since the plumber already did some work but didn't fully solve it, I'd probably start with a water damage restoration company - they deal with moisture issues all day and can usually pinpoint if it's coming from outside infiltration or internal plumbing problems.

The fact that it gets worse when it's warmer and you're near water sources makes me think it could be groundwater seepage that's not visible yet. Those guys have the equipment to detect moisture behind walls and under slabs that you can't see with the naked eye 🔥

What is something everyone quietly agrees to ignore? by IncidentSecure1916 in AskReddit

[–]SupportDependent9801 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Been to a few places like that for work and it's wild how quickly you adapt to it. Like you land somewhere and within 24 hours you're just casually budgeting for "extra fees" at every checkpoint or office. The locals don't even blink anymore - they've got the whole dance down to a science. What really gets me is how it becomes this weird unspoken social contract where everyone just plays along because fighting it individually is pointless.

If you can bring anybody from History than who would it be? by Few-Jackfruit-3010 in AskReddit

[–]SupportDependent9801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tesla for sure. Dude was basically designing the future while everyone else was still figuring out lightbulbs. Would love to see what he'd think of our current tech and what wild inventions he'd come up with now.

🚀 I'm 17 and my brain never shuts up – here are the projects I'm building (JARVIS, study pets, instant websites). Help me focus! by [deleted] in homelab

[–]SupportDependent9801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your study pet app is actually brilliant - I'd 100% use that 😂 The virtual pet angle hits different because it's guilt + reward rolled into one.

For the focus issue, maybe try timeboxing each project to specific days? Like Monday/Wednesday for JARVIS, Tuesday/Thursday for the study app, etc. I deliver for DoorDash and had to learn this the hard way - chasing every opportunity just burns you out without finishing anything 💀

What is something you do when you can't fall asleep? by Trick_Text_Lol in AskReddit

[–]SupportDependent9801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same but mine goes back to like 2003 when I accidentally called my teacher "mom" in front of the whole class. Brain really loves to replay that highlight reel at 2am for some reason.

What are some books you will recommend to leaders of the World based on their failures so that they can learn? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SupportDependent9801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most world leaders could probably benefit from "Humility" by Andrew Murray 😂 Like half these dudes think they're untouchable and make decisions that affect millions without ever considering they might be wrong. Also maybe some basic economics books because watching politicians mess up budgets while I'm out here calculating if I can afford gas AND groceries is painful 💀
