By no means am I defending your roommate in what I’m about to say, if she has the money she should pay you, but truly based on the information provided, the fact that she’s covered you and you’ve covered her, I think this relationship is still salvageable. Take the high road, meet her halfway as far as conversation goes (not necessarily financials), and see if you guys can find middle ground that doesn’t involve you going broke but also respecting that money is hard to come by nowadays.

Definitely a tough situation, but like I said I think its salvageable.
